Really? When we were first using Dogecoin in 2013 this guy had no idea about it and now he calls himself the Dogefather just because he is rich and bought tons? It's all market manipulation folks, wake up! The only Dogefather is Jackson Palmer the guy who created the coin.

With his "smart" tweets he controls the price and newbies are falling into this trap! I don't know about you but I'm very disappointed. He's probably using Dogecoin to increase his BTC capital.

Well, the idea that he is "dogefather" comes from the fact that without him doge was a low level no good useless coin that meant nothing to anyone. After he started to tweet about it that revived dogecoin and it became as much as top 5 I believe, that does give him some power over doge for sure and I think that caused him to think he is the dogefather of it all.

I would understand, he does make a point, even though I hate the fact that some people are idiots enough to buy a coin because someone tweeted about it, that doesn't change the fact that he did actually manage that, he tweeted a coin into increasing and that is a power not many have.

I wish people actually knew who he was, coming from a family that took over a mining operation in south Africa in illegal and colonist ways and even he himself closed a whole manufacturing place because people joined a union, so he is a very bad person with a dark past, but I guess "lol doge wow so good much increase" is better.

I believe it isn't just Elon who is doing the stuff alone, I believe there is a group behind him making a coordinated activity to make the Dogecoin market looks really promising.  It will start on the tweet follow by the group of traders creating huge volume for Dogecoin then pump it.  Like a domino effect on trader,  they will easily get attracted to the high volume, and sudden increase making them to jump into the train synergizing the effect of the hype and pump of the people behind hyping the Dogecoin market.  As a result DOGE will then increase in price as we can see now.

How do you know he had no idea about Dogecoin in 2013? Right, he never said anything about it, but there are also a lot of people here who believe that Elon Musk is behind Satoshi Nakamoto. Elon Musk has already denied this several times, but the fact that there are quite a few people here who believe that Elon had already developed Bitcoin before 2008 also allows the theory that he already knew Doge five years later.

Elon himself is an opportunist (imo) and i'm pretty sure that he might have known crypto from when it still have relatively small market capitalization not to mention at around that time he was really active in developing his tech based company so can't assume whether he really had no idea about doge or not but it's true though an address owning such huge amount is simply a red flag for anyone who think they gonna make it big through doge. Just be careful because the market could be crashing anytime, 60% of total supply is enough to make doge price go down as much as 99% since the market isn't really strong due to purely driven by hype anyway.

It's hard to point the direction of all this commotion he is making with Doge.
Is he really trying to make more money even with all the fortune he already had? It's not easy to understand how this rich people think.

But I am with you to not bite the trap laid down.
It will be easy for this people to just dump all the coins they have and leave it like that then pretend nothing happened or just make a bad excuse in social media.

Celebrity will always have that ability to influence that's why there are people called followers of them.
Even if you argue with the man's word like an ordinary human being, they'll likely still follow what the man had said.

I hate Elon before for hyping DOGE because I thought he is just joking around but right now, I think he’s so serious on promoting DOGE and its hard to know why but if you have extra money then its fine to join the hype of DOGE, we don’t know what will happen on May 8, but something is big coming for sure with DOGE. The hype continues, and Elon might be one of the developer of DOGE or he is being paid huge, everything is possible.

You said it right, that's why I didn't touch Doge because I know it's just all manipulation, but this bullish period of DOGE will not stay forever, the more people FOMO on Doge, the bigger the dump we will witness once the market starts to fall due to correction.

I think people right now don't care about Doge's supply circulation is 124 billion, they think it's an instant buy and profit. I think there will be times when Doge will collapse and return to normal prices. Doge's euphoria was high with Elon Musk's tweet

I'm awfully disappointed with Elon Musk. What he is doing is unethical and even worse than what McAfee was doing. At least McAfee was more honest than Elon Musk. Sadly, this brings pump and dumps to a whole new level. Now, every celebrity can just buy any kind of shitcoin and shill it on Twitter. I am starting to have doubts about Musk's intelligence too, and how the media were portraying him as someone with high intelligence. Probably just got lucky enough being a meme and a clown. He doesn't inspire confidence in me and I wouldn't invest in anything he touches.
