I read about people thinking it was impossible for bitcoin to reach 20k and likewise even more recently. In my limited crypto life. I remember when people thought it unlikely for doge to even reach 1 cent. talking about how it would have to have ____ market cap and etc and a dollar was even more unlikely. So it reaching 70 cents. who knows, it might reach a dollar or 2 even within the next few years.

10 dollars is a more reasonable prediction and yet it is not an easy thing to achieve, people look at the price of each dogecoin and think it is cheap however we need to look at the market cap, 10 dollars for each dogecoin means 2 times the current market cap of bitcoin and a 30x growth, so unless you are willing to give a minimum of a decade for dogecoin to reach those prices even something as low as 10 dollars per coin does not seems as something easy to reach.

Even the effect of Elon Musk's tweet didn't help Dogecoin to even reach that bar. The best one was $0.66 and people were already fricking the hell out by this event.
Since 2013 dogecoin was released, it's been 8 years and the price was surging in 2021 so if you thought in 5 years dogecoin would went to the moon then it would be really hard day for you.

Are you posting this thread because of Elon musk tweets about doge, if that's the reason then that's wouldn't be accurate, what other features and development had doge team implemented, to me nothing but just hype making the price skyrocket, Coinbase listing will eventually make the dream price comes through.

Not too high but its indeed impossible because if we do consider to total supply of this coin then there no way that it could even reach out $100 and now were are talking about 20k?

People should really learn at least about total supply or number of coins before making some unrealistic price predictions because it would turn out that you would become some too optimistic or believing into something which even on dreams cant happen.

We should be realistic at a least so that it wont really frustrate us if it didn't able to hit up that level.

I try to take people seriously when they make their predictions but I agree, I do not think there is a way for dogecoin to reach those prices, but people are too blind to see the reality, they see that the coin went up significantly and instead of just accepting this and consider themselves lucky they got profits they still want more and more and that is when the market crashes and instead of earning money they lose it and then they hope that someone like Musk saves them when in reality Musk does not care about them at all.

I agree that sometimes some people set unrealistic targets and expect Dogecoin to hit a price of $20k in 5 years that is absolutely impossible.
Do the analysis and research correctly, then we can predict a reasonable price will be achieved by Dogecoin. Don't set impossible targets,
it will make us regret in the end, after all Dogecoin is not a project that has a clear function like ETH or BNB. Then the price increase must also

Yeah honestly I see people saying hey bitcoin got to $20,000.  It's crazy that people have zero clue about supply.  I really hope people don't think that supply has no bearing on the value of a coin 😂

$ 20.00/doge how at that time the price of bitcoin has become a million dollars? Of course this will refer to bitcoin, not just a doge who is said to be hype to be targeted by Elon Musk to promote their Tesla, this doesn't make sense at that price in the next 5 years.
