imma go ahead and say it, it is impossible for Doge to reach $20k not just in 5 years, Doge just can't make it that far, there is just no way, its marketcap would be unbelievably high, it's just a meme coin, people can try to make some profit out of it and sell, it has no other rational usages.

To be honest $20k is unrealistic target for my opinion, the supply of doge is too much and i don't think in 5 years doge can reach that price. Did you even try to calculate the marketcap Doge X $20k? How much it will be, i cant even imagine how big the marketcap will be if doge reach that price.

Apparently the rise of BTC has been helping the highs a lot, the bulls of DOGE are making movements that although they do not have so many gains they are trying to maintain the price and not drop it, it is presumed that it can reach 0.28USD if everything goes well. .

The buyers have pushed the price above the overhead resistance at $0.21 today but the bears may not give up easily. The sellers will again try to stall the recovery at the 50-day SMA ($0.24). If the price turns down from this level, the bulls will attempt to flip $0.21 into support.

If they succeed, the possibility of a break above the 50-day SMA increases. Such a move could open the doors for a likely rally to $0.28 and then to $0.33.

Maybe it can happen but not for 5 years, it could be another 50 years until I have grandchildren if I have a long life. although doge seems to have run out of energy to fly again but because the crypto world is very volatile so I believe anything can happen in the future.

Not really, even if you were to give it five decades it is not going to happen, dogecoin is not a good enough coin to last for that long, besides being a meme coin the only thing it has going on for it is the fact that you can get fast confirmations with it, but with the lightning network getting more popular by the day this is not a strategy that is going to work for that long, so I hope that people understand that the price the OP is talking about is simply impossible to reach.

You see in 2018 how much did Bitcoin and Dogecoin cost? and try to compare it with this year where Bitcoin got a new ATH in April and Dogecoin did too, this is a sign that if Dogecoin is at $20K, then Bitcoin and other coins will be 5X more expensive than they are now, hopefully you can understand from what I mean.

I did not believe that the price of doge coin will reach to 20000$ in next 5 years or even next 50 years. There is a huge difference between bitcoin and doge coin technology. Doge coin supply is unlimited and anyone can mine doge coin as much as they can. So, the rule of economics is that supply always impacts on the price of a coin. Bitcoin supply is limited.

Dogecoin can compete only with new meme coins and some coins that don't have strong fundamentals yet, because Dogecoin's huge supply always has an influence on its price and ranking in the crypto space.

Many people are always talking about the low price of dogecoin not realizing that while the price of the coin can be low its supply is huge and since there is no limit to the amount of coins that can be created then that supply is only going to go up, which in return makes any growth in terms of price to be very difficult as more money needs to be pumped into the coin in order to see some results, so I will recommend people to stay away from this coin even if they think that it can pump in the future because of the influence of Musk.

Though this thread is quite unrealistic, I think investors who think unrealistically about DOGE should read this thread, it's not only about the comments on the $20k target price but as to the potential of DOGE to reach a certain price. Also, it's important that they know about the hype of DOGE and how it's manipulated to reach this level, that way, they'll learn and wait up on the reality that DOGE is not stable as they think.

People that don't understand marketcap or supply should not be putting their money in crypto.  The lack of basic economic understanding in crypto lately is mind blowing.  $20k is a joke.  I'd be surprised if it actually even hits a dollar without bitcoin getting into the 6 digit area.

20k$ is very high for Doge to achieve in just 5 years, Bitcoin spent almost 10 years before reaching that 20k$, so I don't think that Doge will spent only 5 years to reach 20k$. $20k is not a small number. It's not wrong to speculation that way, but it's too much. If Dogecoin reaches $20k, what is the price of Bitcoin then? And what is the market cap with thousands of active coins right now. But if the price is $ 20, it might be achieved in the next 5 years.

OP totally inconsequential with this number, there is no strong reason that describe why doge coin price could hit this level. just compare with ethereum which is have huge demand and utility but its price still below $3k now. unreasonable even doge coin price around $20, developers team need to build something that usefull in crypto market and alot ecosystem use it

$20 is even insane for 5 years.  That would essentially make the marketcap of doge equal half the entire world's currency both paper and coins.  That is literally rediculous that this is even a conversation.  People need to learn economics at a 4th grade level before they start making price predictions.
