The price of ETC has gone up insanely for the past 2 days I have touched about $ 100 after it was just $ 9 about two months ago !!!

I don't think etc is any different than any other coin at this point.  So many alts have went completely insane.  There is no reason for this craziness, I would thinking shorting coins like etc in the near future might be the winning move.

Is this just speculation for the charts? Because i see absolutely no reason for Ethereum classic to exist and i don't think it's bringing anything to the table in terms of tech or cryptocurrency adoption. It's just a fork for a statement and doesn't create anything else but confusion and division.

I think this is the reason behind ETC's increase. Of course, market's bull run also contributes to that. Although ETC is a good coin, but 900% increase in just 3 months is insane. Even a shitcoin couldn't pump that way. ETH's migration to PoS is good for both ETH and ETC. ETH network becomes more efficient while ETC gets more attention from miners and investors.

I think investors are grabbing any coin that looks cheap. ETC was very cheap compared to ETH so it got the pump to get a better valuation. Many bitcoin forks have pumped nicely for similar reasons too.

That's a sure thing as for mining, I think that's main reason aside from we're in the altcoin bull run.

I don't think it's a good coin but until it has risen with that gain, everyone who sees the gain will start to say that it's a good coin. That gain that it has made really takes the attention of everyone that's being amazed on that percentage.

What a massive bump on price especially within 3 months.? Its very optimistic and this kind of alts is what we looking for when it comes investing not those only good when start up and fail to excess on their main goal.. Actually im wondering why this kind of projects are not really popular on crypto space despite the potential and future is really promising.. I used to own a lot of ETC but over time their developers abandoned it and we didn't see any adoption. I dumped what I had before the price got too low. Now we see it pumping but it is mostly just riding ethereum's coattails. I don't see it really gaining any traction outside of just using it for speculation. We have seen how bad it's security is after it was attacked and reorganized multiple times. It's starting to show some signs of life but it is not something I have too much confidence in. Over a long period of time it's price will go back down.

ETC such a game changer, I wish I had put in $20 a couple months ago but I missed it completely. No big deal since my other holding doing great, those who got it's low turn out true champion now. Now, it's time for some correction. Hoping it will get back over $150 at least in the coming days. I'm all in on ETC  right now, just wish not tanking hard.
