Well he has to do a u-turn if he wants to stay the world's richest man for the fourth year straight.
It was revealed earlier in the week that Larry Ellison of co-founder of Oracle corporation was now the richest person in the world. Well, for a limited time but it was a difference of one billion.

The $1 million gap is not a large amount for them, but it shows how strong they are and how likely they are to pursue the wealth written there. Initially, Elon was too confident in joining the government, whose goal was, of course, to gain power to make his business even bigger. but unexpectedly, he did not share the same vision and mission as Trump, and the coalition remains a question mark to this day, certainly causing him to lose out because he is not focused on his business.

Elon musk is the richest man on earth for now , according to research and also a versatile investor, and according to research Elon musk is a cryptocurrency enthusiast with portfolio in bitcoin and Dogecoin.
Elon musk is an influential figure in the cryptocurrency market and if he tweets about a particular coin, that very coin tends to gain his fans and other people's attention.
I don't think Elon musk activities is only to boost Tesla, but also to boost the growth of those coins that he is holding.

You seem to forget, he is involved in multiple companies some that the public are probably not aware of yet. But knowing him he will reveal it in due time as his ego won't allow him not to take the credit when they are successful enough.

He is wanting to send civilization to Mars. That in upon itself is mind boggling to most. But it is achieveable and many are willing to be the first to go there. And are willing to pay several millions to do it.

Fiat currency also needs energy , for printing or digital transactions. While i know what he is trying to say, but every other crypto is based on 'energy' too so why mention only BTC

True. However, energy is wasted in Fiat, whereas in Bitcoin, it's used for a greater good (censorship-resistant money that's scarce by design). Central banks usually print more Fiat to manipulate the economy to their hearts' content. It's basically money out of "thin air". They certainly can't do that with Bitcoin. It has a predictable, fixed supply that cannot be manipulated at will. The more energy spent on BTC, the bigger and stronger it will be.

Right now, Bitcoin is the safest cryptocurrency in the world. All thanks to the energy spent by miners. Glad to know Elon finally came to his senses. Perhaps, he's doing it to attract attention. Either way, this is beneficial for the mainstream adoption of crypto. I'm sure more people will join Bitcoin because of Elon's comments. Just my two sats.

Your view is correct and not wrong, as almost all Proof-of-Work (PoW) cryptocurrencies are energy-based, but the largest and most stable is BTC.

Regarding the issue of his tweet about Bitcoin being based on energy, that's his right to direct it wherever he wants, whether it's to electric cars or rockets. What we need to realize now is that BTC is the primary solution to three major issues in the modern financial system going forward the first, a solution to inflation and limitless money printing, second, a centralized financial system, and finally, transparency.

I like how you argue that people such as Elon Musk talk up Bitcoin just to gain attention, since such suggestions usually only work in favor of those who can buy and sell quickly, leaving more new investors with huge losses to deal with. This is basically what it comes down to... First of all, a decentralized app can't be run by a company... Imagine if you're running a Bitcoin node and it has to pause so a mandatory server patch update can be performed, lol. He makes a lot of cool things happen but then he also talks a lot about projects he has no intention of actually following through according to what he hyped them up as.

This is a very valid point you had just made.
Remember back when that boys soccer team was trapped in a cave in Thailand?
He called the rescuer some foul things only after the method he wanted to use did not work with some kind of submarine from what I recall. It was so long ago that I don't remember all the details but that stuck out in my mind when it came down to it. He is very envious of being the superior one above all others on this planet.
