After lots of consensus, dogecoin devs finally decided to have no cap as far as my memory serves me. So I don't think it will be a problem if dogecoin continues with unlimited supply. It is a coin still dedicated for micro-transactions so having unlimited supply is a kind of advantage for it; if you notice it was pumped on organic manner and not in jumping price levels. So, having massive supply also helpful in times.

I agree having limited supply might lead to do good impact on price levels but for that we need either Elon Musk to hire devs or might need to fork dogecoins into something like TeslaDoge or anything like that .

Do you really think that the Dogecoin investors really care about the cap? Most of those who make their investment with Dogecoin are relatively inexperienced in the cryptocurrency domain. They are attracted to Dogecoin, due to propaganda in the social media and as a result of tweets from people like Elon Musk. I am damn sure that only a small minority among them knows the difference between the fundamentals of Dogecoin and Bitcoin. And when the prices are going up, they will listen to none of your arguments. Only when the bubble bursts, they will listen to others.

This price increase is probably affected by market volatility. It's pushed up the price too high, and that attracts a lot of attention from people.

Why doge? What kind of feature is it has to be loved? Being decentralized(which was trivialized by Musk)? Love LTC instead. LTC is also decentralized, limited supply, as well as less fee for transactions.

Dogecoin isn't over priced ambiguously or deliberately, the price of dogecoin going up is the end result/birth caused by fussion of demand and supply, dogecoin is among alt-coins that are attractive to investors, I don't know about which problem dogecoin has or what they should do to solve it, but what's clear is that dogecoin is hot on investors list, I think when that all clears alot about dogecoin and it's problem maybe exposed. I have seen article illustrating dogecoin as a gunpowder ready to explode and I think for now investors are all about doge profit.

This is the main cons of holding and buying Dogecoin. Buying this coin is just like buying fiat money with a premium. Which the premium will be devalued overtime once the supply surge in. Doge is reaching the current price due to the manipulation that already done by the big whales. This whale bought billion coins of doge coins from the market to create FOMO. That is not a problem but a solution to secure network without having high transaction fees. Bitcoin will have to solve this problem. If it will not will not be secure enough or fees will be extremely sky high. This will not happen when all Bitcoin get mined so almost 100 years form now but much earlier.   Also Bitcoin have infinity supply fro next 100 years. Are not you as concern for Bitcoin as you are for Doge?

I still remember a few days ago, Doge pumped crazily, left all of other altcoins in blood. Doge fan were happy but the rest of crypto fans weren't. I know that it hurts but Doge is just a "hustle" of Elon Musk. He raised it and now he kills it for meat. Everything will be back to normal.
