Well, I have no idea about the future of Dogecoin although it is already on the top 10 crypto coins. I just doubt if Elon Musk only takes advantage of Dogecoin, he seems not really serious to support Dogecoin for a long time. How if he forgets to make a tweet about Dogecoin in the next few years? In my opinion, I don't see a strong reason for Elon Elon Musk to support Dogecoin. If he tweets about Dogecoin nowadays, he may take advantage of the situation that people take attention to him because his tweets look unusual. He will stop it any time once he realizes it has no effect anymore.

I believe, Elon's initial tweets towards doge is more like a game to him, nothing serious.
And he saw the interest of the community, and that's why he started to be serious about it.
He saw the impact of his tweets to the doge market, making it hit even at the top 4 at some point.
And now, top 8 in the market is still not bad. But if there will be no development progress, its popularity will wane again.

elon promoting dogecoin is not good even if it is a cryptocurrency it makes Bitcoin look bad because instead of promoting a legitimate currency like Bitcoin he choose to pick a meme coin which has now branded Bitcoin as a joke.

The calculation is like this, if musk buys BTC and DOGECOIN at the same time for $1000, 1 BTC = $1000 and 1 Doge = $0.02, after that Btc and doge both experienced an increase of 10%, so for this reason musk is more interested in boosting the prestige of DOGE than BTC.

Yep, I also think the same as you. Previously, he is likely just trying to tweet about Doge without any intent (purpose). But he saw great attention from crypto enthusiasts and crypto market as well. So, he continued it till today. However, this is cannot be a strong fundamental to be the future of Dogecoin. When Elon Musk is no longer interested to tweet about Dogecoin, then no sign for Doge value to increase more. Also, the power of Elon's tweet seems weaker and weaker, it is not a good sign for holding Doge a long time.

I saw Dogecoin having a huge price hike when Elon tweeted, The real fight is between fiat & crypto. After considering it, I support the latter. Musk has previously compared bitcoin to other coins and has frequently tweeted about cryptocurrencies, causing bitcoin and dogecoin to fluctuate in value. This is what causes Dogecoin to go higher, it's just that we are waiting on which Altcoin Elon will provide support. I don't know for sure the real reason why support Dogecoin.

Elon musk promoting Dogecoin cannot make Bitcoin look bad ever  the only thing was Elon must tweeting negatively about Bitcoin, that was what was also contributing to the price dump of Bitcoin at the time but not that he promoted Dogecoin over Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a force on its own tweets from Elon must and people like him can only shift the market a bit but not affect Bitcoin negatively in the long term.

I'm sure it's not collaboration for the development of the Dogecoin project that was intended.

Elon Musk is creating his influence in crypto right now, so there are some steps he is taking, to get into the BTC and ETH system is very unlikely for him, let alone affect BTC and ETH itself, the only opportunity available is in Dogecoin at the moment to create its influence.

Elon Musk has his reasons for doing things, the level of influence in the crypto world is what he's aiming for, it's in line with what he's doing. I've heard this once, If we have become millionaires, but there is no influence whatsoever in the crypto world, it will be considered unsuccessful. Perhaps this is the reason why Elon Musk wants to create his influence.

The low market cap (before Elon started shilling it, the valuation stood at $6 billion), unique ownership structure (top 100 users own 70% of all the circulating Doge) and the fact that Doge can be easily manipulated (because it is listed in a limited number of exchanges) might have caught the attention of Elon. His intention is not to contribute anything positive to the cryptocurrency sector. Similar to Mark Zuckerberg, he just want to use cryptocurrency for his own benefit (to get profit, and to generate hype for Tesla).

I think he doesn't love Doge. Although he tweeted Dogecoin, doesn't mean he loves or invests in Dogecoin. What he did is just to know people's responses to his tweets. He probably only wants to know how big the impact of the tweets is. of cause what he did has a direct impact on the crypto market because we saw the dip. It is obvious that Elon Musk has nothing for the cryptocurrency space. What has he really done positively for crypto other than cause FUD and brought the market down? With his status, it is no question that his tweet will have an effect on the market even when he first mentioned that Tesla has invested in Bitcoin to later announcing that Tesla will no longer accept Bitcoin for whatever dumb reason.

Elon Musk is the second richest person in this planet, and obviously millions of people follow him. When he tweets about a particular asset, it is only natural for it to witness an increase in demand. And if tomorrow Elon comes up with his own coin, then I have no doubt that it will manage to be on the top-10 list in coinmarketcap. He still commands a lot of influence in this sector.
