Hoping to see a bitcointalk token sooner

This is the birthplace of crypto and many people learnt alot from here. is it not fair for this platform to get a token that can be traded in the market. other content management platform has then own crypto that are been traded and use as a means of rewards to their users.
please don't say bitcoin. currently, not everyone can afford bitcoin now. we need an altcoin as an alternative token here for payment of service.

if you or many people can't afford to buy bitcoin, then take a look at the potential altcoins, I think there are a lot of potential altcoins that can be exploited, such as BNB, Matic, Solana and many other altcoins, cryoto has grown rapidly for now, the services available as well increasingly widespread, so not only bitcoin is the main source, but there are many other altcoins that are able to generate profits, without other altcoins bitcoin also cannot run alone in the market

Sounds like a good idea, but the token must have real use case in the future.
To get the trust from members, the token should launch from launchpad platform so the funds will be secure.
Maybe you can give your idea to theymos as the admin of bitcointalk forum here.

This is the first bitcoin forum and most people on this forum are more focused on bitcoin than any alternative currency. If there is a token for the forum then bitcoin is the most reasonable compared to any other token.

Creating a new forum token is a bad idea, you should remember bitcoin and bitcointalk are both jointly owned by Satoshi. We should respect and preserve his legacy instead of trying to replace or damage it.

This forum is a place to discuss the problems of the crypto world so that until now users are getting bigger, so to make your own tokens I don't think it's a good idea because later the bitcointalk forum already feels no longer neutral in responding to the problems of the crypto world, so using bitcoin alone in dividing bunus for project participants is already very good to overcome this problem, if later indeed the presence of bitcointalk tokens then new regulations will definitely be implemented, for the security of this forum.

Not a bad idea but knowing how dedicated some members of this forum are towards btc I doubt something like that would ever happen. Although I wouldn't mind holding btt token to be honest, because I knew it will have great utility more than many nonsense we have in the market today. But you can only hope.

I'm worried if this forum launches a coin or token because it might later cause a loss of community trust in this forum if there is a decrease in the price of the coin, although basically this forum is a place that always discusses the growth of cryptocurrencies but I didn't expect the BTT forum to launch coins or tokens, especially now that there are thousands of coins on the market and even more so that we just have to choose a few that we think are good for investment.

Actually, this forum has been present for a very long time and until now there has been no token created in order to follow in the footsteps of others, if later there are arternative altcoins present then bitcointank will be more interesting for us to use, and now they must have a strong reason because they cannot create their own tokens and there are still negative things that arise later so that they do not create the token, but we don't know what will happen in the future, hopefully everything that happens as expected.

I think there are many alternative coins that can be obtained in this forum if you want to participate in the bounty held in this forum. so I mean don't expect to get something that is impossible to get without consistent effort in this forum

The assumption that everybody and their dog needs a token is only one approach towards cryptocurrencies and tokens.

If bitcointalk strives to keep its status as a neutral communication platform open to all schools of thought, it should not prematurely take a side on this question.

That is a good suggestion. Many organizations or projects already have a token which is like a reward and governance utility. It improves trust and transparency. I think Altcointalk have their own token too. Another thing I would like to see is an app

The name of this forum is Bitcointalk, so I think it will be confusing to spring up another token, it is actually a diversion form the main purpose of this forum. Secondly, there are many tokens already in the market, so why border to create more. Moreover, Bitcoin is the leading cryptocurrency both in domination, popularity and in security so why go for something less? Bitcoin can be used for payment in bounties if the Project owner decides so basically IMO, there no need for a token for the platform.

Not really much needed or not that relevant because this forum itself is made out by satoshi which means Bitcoin (his creation) is the coin that represents this forum thats why its really just not
much needed to create like bitcointalk coin or something like that which would be totally irrelevant i would say even Theymos would really be not loving the idea on creating one or neither supporting it.
It isnt really just needed but if there are some reconsiderations on creating one the for sure majority of this forum members or users will really be dying out on earning or getting one or

The forum is working with a purpose, and there is nothing needed more. As said there won't be any use case, and creation of such coin can serve as ruining of the forum value. This forum could've never gained importance if it is part of some shitcoins. The success of the forum is out of the Bitcoin and lets be with it than finding a new token.

There has been a link between the forum name and bitcoin since its conception, this is enough for us and we don't need another shitcoin. There are more than 20k altcoins available right now, which is more than enough to get you started if you want to invest in altcoins.

Look at altcoinstalk and cryptotalk, they are two terrible clones of bitcointalk and even worse try to issue their own tokens for the forum. It doesn't change the fact that they are worse, either.

if you're talking about rewards, you shouldn't expect the forum to reward everyone using alternative tokens. you just need to go the bounty thread and there you will find some campaign bounty projects that will reward you and maybe the tokens can also be traded in the market

anyone can buy a few bitcoins for a small amount of money too, bro. one doesn't have to buy 1 bitcoin or 2 bitcoins just to save. you can also buy bitcoin with your money $1. don't complain about not being able to buy bitcoins. because bitcoin doesn't force people to buy everything
