I invest in Dogecoin for the short term (although only a little), but if Tesla does accept payments using Dogecoin, then of course I will agree about that and make Dogecoin a long term investment, because I believe if Tesla does accept payments using Dogecoin, then of course the price of Dogecoin can increase very high ($1 is not an impossible price for Dogecoin), so I can get a big profit from investing in Dogecoin.
If Tesla and Elon are so confident about Dogecoin, then why don't they convert their BTC holdings to DOGE? It surprises me that they are bad-mouthing Bitcoin on one side and then holding large amounts of BTC on the other. Elon has put so many tweets explaining why Dogecoin is better than BTC. Then why can't they do this swap? The reason is that even Elon knows that Doge is a shitcoin and in the long term this coin is guaranteed to lose most of its value. The big blow for Doge will come when Elon surfaces with his own version of the cryptocurrency. |

He tweeted asking if Dogecoin will be used to buy Tesla. But after his tweet, Doge price is going down, which means people are understanding his purpose. There are people that are already done and exhausted whenever they see Elon and Dogecoin on the news. Although it's really going to be a big news if Elon put his money on his mouth. He likes dogecoin that much right? why no application for his companies to accept Dogecoin as a payment. Yes, we rarely see that he gives support to bitcoin but he has contributed huge hype to the doge coin to manipulate the market and maybe the price increase of the doge ATH exceeded his expectations. If he had chosen bitcoin or eth it wouldn’t be so easy for him to pump it. And he can pump this coin just thanks to his authority, so it is a really good tool for him for speculation. It is a big question now if he really is going to sell Tesla for Dogecoin or if it is really manipulation. Personally I don’t see any reasons for him to make such a decision. Dogecoin’s price will depend only on this and will be supported only by buyers of Tesla, so how will he sell this coin for large sums? |

No, it would be a rediculous move for a prominent company to make. Doge is devaluing by the minute and for a coin with a 10,000 coin block reward every minute for infinity it will only go lower. Tesla would immediately swap doge for either bitcoin or fiat so every doge sale would end up a missive dump on the market. It wouldn't be good for Tesla or Pete who hold doge.
