It looks like the entire market was waiting for a news like this, Elon Musk talked about the huge amount of energy used to mine the coins and it was a catalyst for the entire market to go down as if only POW coins exist in the market  .
If not for his green energy stand we could have seen the ETH price crossing $5000 this week as the momentum was really in favor and now it might take weeks or month to see a recovery.

Its value is continuously increasing at the moment and there are lot of price prediction going on.
