I see no difference between Elon Musk and McAfee

I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever compare Elon Musk with John McAfee. But that time has come now. What Elon is doing is pure manipulation.. although I don't think that he is profiting out of it. I can no longer classify his actions as "trolling". And I really don't know why he's doing this. John McAfee promoted shitcoins for monetary rewards. But why Elon is promoting them? As far as I know, he is not getting any payments.  

We know that Elon musk invested 1.5 billion in Bitcoin, right? But the question is how do we know he invested? Recently we saw the vote for Dogecoin to accept Tesla. Now he is focusing on how to improve system transaction efficiency. But I don't believe in infinity supply, even transaction are much efficient.

I agree that both are manipulating the crypto market, but Elon Musk is slightly better than McAfee. Because Elon Musk never promotes scam coins,
while McAfee often promotes scam coins. Even though we are influenced by Elon Musk buying Bitcoin and Dogecoin, the opportunity to get profit is
still possible. Whereas McAfee affects us to buy scam coins, which is where we will lose the capital we have. Therefore, it is better if we make a decision
not to be too influenced by other people, we also have to be able to do research on the projects we want to buy.

There are some basic difference. McAfee actually shilled about a coin or token after getting paid while Elon do at his will (and maybe after he buys it for cheap). Jokes aside, I still have respect for Elon and what he said about bitcoin does hold truth. While the world moves towards conserving energy, bitcoin is a very energy intense network to keep running. It doesn't fit in the new world in current form.

I must assert that McAfee is a low-level businessman and his influence cannot be compared with Elon Musk.
McAfee promotes money-making projects and he promotes scam projects. It was a job that brought him income. As a result of what he did, many people lost their money, he also had to pay the price when someone tried to assassinate him in 2019.
Elon Musk only bought 2 cryptocurrencies, DOGE and Bitcoin. The problem with him manipulating Bitcoin and DOGE in his tweets is pretty obvious. Because of his tweets, the crypto market exploded in value when in February Elon took Bitcoin from $38,000 to $46,000 in a few hours with Tesla buying $1.5 billion in Bitcoin.

From my assessment of how the market and Elon musk has been trolling, I feel Elon musk is doing all this purely for entertainment. I'm certain that he's not getting paid for this manipulations. The truth is that most people would end up getting hurt from the market this period and its going to be worse than the last bull run of 2017.

I don't think Elon Musk can be compared to John McAfee. They are completely different people and they also performed different actions in relation to cryptocurrency. John McAfee earned in dishonest ways on cryptocurrency. In relation to Elon Musk, one cannot say that he uses dishonest methods, and also that he commits his actions for the purpose of earning money. Elon Musk does not even directly advertise cryptocurrency and does not encourage anyone to buy Bitcoin or Doge. He also has the right to decide whether or not to accept bitcoins as payment for Tesla cars, and we cannot blame him for that.

I dislike what Elon is currently doing, but I guess he'll soon realize that this isn't the way to go. If he wants to help people, he will soon refrain from shilling doge and just focus on his companies' success, especially Tesla now that competition is starting to get beefed up. His ego is being stroked by a lot of his followers and he's enjoying every single bit of it, and soon he'll get tired of what he's doing and drop the crypto gig up. McAfee is a complete degenerate that shills for the money and money alone. Never did any projects that somehow benefits a lot of people, but Elon got that covered at the least.

I have not fully lived the Macfee experience but it seems that he ended up in oblivion and had problems with the law ... Musk will be smarter and even if we will remember 2021 as the year of meme madness launched by Musk, also of him we will forget.

When it comes to tweeting about crypto, they are similar. McAfee had troubles with his tweets and the people who he's involved with for various projects and now is in the run. While Elon is not directly involved in any centralized project and has been tweeting about decentralized community projects like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin only.
