McAfee received a lot of money just by endorsing several ICO projects before that ended up badly for the investors. if some of here remember, some projects here included his name on their title thread just to attract investors. whereas, with Elon, he doesn't need to accept that kind of payment, let's say from doge, because he doesn't need it. it is his own freewill why he is promoting doge. and he is also advising the public that this is a high risk investment.

The problem I see with your reasoning is that if Elon wasn't Elon, but a more moderate Elon, would he ever in his damn life considered to fire rockets with passengers to Mars and start building a company for that? I would say that Musk is a guy who didn't sell his company and Mcafee did, that seems like the only difference. Elon could have sold tesla or spacex years ago, they are very valuable companies right now but 10 years ago they were not and they could have been sold, building a car company from scratch is not something anyone can do, it is really really really expensive and the costs are just non stop, hell Tesla is STILL not making any profit and they are one of the biggest companies in the world, think about how hard it is to survive in that sector.
