How can I cancel or complete MyEthereumWallet transaction

I sent 40usdt to my friend on 29 Apr 2021 from MyEthereumWallet. I customized fee to 3.5usd (min fee was 6usd at that time). I thought with this fee transaction will be completed in 1 or 2 days, it was not time critical. But it is still pending till date, after 15 days.
Can someone help me how can I cancel this transaction?

Its very simple, replace old transaction by broadcasting the old txid with new high fee then the transaction will proceeded.

Use this : https://etherscan.io/gastracker to know the actual required fee but you may have to half of the amount just for the transaction fee itself.

according to my experience in transactions using myetherwallet. To cancel the transaction, you will be charged a cancellation fee. and to continue the transaction, you must follow the fees set by the system to speed up the transaction process. so both require additional fees. then my advice, please make a new transaction with higher gas fees and in accordance with the minimum fees. so you don't need to cancel previous transactions.

Cancel a transaction is helpful if you make a mistake for your transaction. Sending your ERC-20 tokens to your Ethereum address on exchange. Sending your ETH or ERC-20 tokens to wrong receiving address.

If you make those mistakes and use low gas price, you will have enough time to cancel them.

This is the fastest and easiest way to go about it. Just broadcast a new transaction within MyEtherWallet. Increase the transaction speed to a value that is at least about average of what the market needs at the moment of broadcasting the transaction. If you can afford and are willing to pay, average speed should be the minimum for you. Otherwise you can get into waiting loop again.

Thank you every one for such nice help. I tried this https://kb.myetherwallet.com/en/transactions/checking-or-replacing-a-tx-after-sending/ but didnt worked for me.
I m leaving what worked for me, so that someone may get benefited in future.
From left side of myethereumwallet, I selected SWAP and swapped 40 USDT with ethereum and sent on my own address. GAS fee is Economy (43 gwei) at that time. When I sent this transaction, my first one was dropped. I dont know what happen with this swaping, as it gave me success status but i never got any ethereum.
In this way my 40 usdt are unlocked and I can use them.

I am not sure if you got this right. When he broadcasts the transaction again and replaces the old broadcasted transaction, he is still going to pay only a single fee. He should be fine to pick the average transaction speed on MEW although going 5% above average is the safest bet to get it going quickly.

in my opinion, don't cancel the transaction that you made before because you will be charged a cancellation fee. but if you still want to make a transaction, it is better if you make a new transaction with a transaction fee that has been determined by the system. and your transaction will not be processed because the transaction fees that you provide are very low so that your transaction will not be successful and will fail later.

This solution was used by me before and worked so well, it was really frustated to have hang transaction like that.
For the fee, you can wait it to be at the lowest point i think its about 5 usd in ether.
