Well, at least Elon Musk will know what his coin will be used for. I mean, there are a lot of ICOs which success and they even don't have their real product yet. What is on my mind in past, why not all ICO create their product first then open crowdfunding. And the money can be to develop their product instead of create their product with people's money.

From his last tweet's. now Elon Musk is working with DOGE developers, to improve transaction efficiency. So I think DOGE will become Elon Musk's coin. if he were to make his own coin, I think it will be a very popular coin in the crypto world.

Its yet to get any real value but then, the crash of bitcoin for Musk and others within his realms of idea is that, as all coins would rise, there projects would too. Why does Elon Musk need to create his own altcoin. Elon Musk is much smarter. He bought Dogecoin in 2018-2021 and bought almost all of the free coins. He is not a stupid person and did it in such a way that there was no evidence.
After he took possession of most of the coins, he began to actively pump up the price so that the last owners would sell it.
Then he pumped the price several more times and sold his coins to the hamsters.

There is no point in releasing another coin for the sake of releasing something in crypto. If he is having any innovative drive and can develop something which is not yet released then it is a different story.
I do not think he will come out with a coin if there is nothing substantial to offer and I never felt he is serious about the crypto market and I always felt that he is trolling the market with his constant tweets.

Remember, most crypto user just hated a centralized coin. Take a look to ripple, if there is an information that the badmg holder sell the ripple coin then we will see a huge dump. Moreover, if the crypto currency just being created by one person although he has a popularity then I believe the coin will not success for long time. It will do well at the beginning and that's for sure but the question is next if him and his team will manage to take care of it. Just as we know with the market, whenever what's launched earlier, there will be a bunch of investors coming in and out with that coin because they believe not to the coin but to the person that has launched it. If Elon Musk launches his own coin then I think he will have a hard time naming his project without any duplicate because almost all the name related to him and his company had been used by both legit and scam projects.  Aside from that, I think he will use his money and influence to make his coin in top.

Ilona Mask has good opportunities for creating cryptocurrency. Create simply a coin so that it performs the usual feature of the payment tool, it is not worth it. This will be another ordinary coin that will differ from many similar only to what will use the name of Ilona Mask. Since he is developing space and has an intention in the near future to colonize the planet Mars, he can think about how to create money for Mars to create money for Mars or creating cryptocurrency for specific global neighboring projects. This actually should be a commercial project and means there must be huge. Investors could be the co-owners of this project on the principle of securities. This is if Ilon Mask needs to finance certain global projects. Such cryptocurrencies could well have a perspective.
