nah, imagine a meme coin leading the crypto currency market, if what you want is to decrease the legitimacy of crypto in many people's view then maybe but it's definitely no good for long term and have you seen how much doge actually generated from block reward each year? it's too high
and if doge truly leads the market then be prepared for our market to be called the biggest gambling platform in the digital space because that's exactly what doge was mostly used for.
I'd prefer thing stay as it is today, at least top 20 coins still offer something better than just lite version of btc but memed

Dogecoin has still the original developer and has said that he is working with Elon Musk they can upgrade the network anytime they want. Never think that it will be a meme coin forever since we do not know who are behind those new whale wallets hodling doge.

Think about it, Musk announced they are selling btc and publicly announcing its bad effect on the environment. Its all manipulation and Elon might be heavily invested in dogecoin

I don't think Doge Coin can do anything bad with BTC or negatively affect it in any way. In fact, BTC is the first cryptocurrency and it will probably remain forever. Of course BTC has a number of problems, but Doge Coin has them as well. In fact, cryptocurrencies are all the same, which means that their properties are to one degree or another the same. But still, I believe that the community plays a decisive role and the first will be the most invested cryptocurrency. As has been speculated, Robinhood is apparently the largest holder of dogecoin. Dogecoin is not suitable as a currency because so many people are holding it on a custodial platform that doesn't allow withdrawals. By the time Elon gets the changes he wants implemented on doge people will have already moved on from this meme. It is doubtful if he even can get those changes made because they only have a handful of part time devs.
