In an attempt to increase the number of people getting vaccinated all kind of incentives are being given in the US, one of the most interesting is that those that get at least the first dose of the vaccine at Ohio will have a chance to win one million dollars, apparently there will five be prizes so a total five million dollars will be given for those that are willing to take the vaccine, and for those that are below the age of 18 there will be full scholarships being offered as well.

i see this is a good campaign....i think ohio was the first to do this and it's really a tantalizing attraction.  Ohio people are really very lucky with this policy, it really can change their lives 180% just by joining the vaccination program.

That would be an interesting question however I think it had an impact, there was a slowdown on the rate at which people were being vaccinated and when this was announced the vaccination program caught speed again which will most likely indicate it had a positive effect among those which were doubtful.

Also here it is the fourth winners of the lottery, just one more to go for this to be over.

And I think other cities had also made their own offers so that the people will be encouraged to take the vaccine.

It boosted confidence of the people and those that only wants to have a lottery ticket and other possible prizes, they've just taken the vaccine because of it. But well, they've been vaccinated no matter what, win or no announcement, it's still a win for their local.

Wouldnt matter on what are the situation as long they would be vaccinated then thats what government is been aiming on since from the start and it is just great that at least their government is showing off some concern into its citizens to take the shot and wont really be having those kind of hesitance and this is why these kind of ideas do come out because there are people who cant really be forced on doing so. One million prize for possible hit on lottery when you do take a shot but it would be better if they had divided  the prize into smaller parts at least lots would really benefit out and not just single entity and at least that will help them amidst of this pandemic.

And now those people that can't be forced has to think of it. Since there's still one more slot for the $1M prize.

If that lottery still continues, I think sooner or later, people will want to be vaccinated, which means more people will have a way to prevent the virus. I do not live in Russia but maybe this is a cultural thing? While in many countries there is the culture of going to the doctor at the first sign of problems there are other countries in which people prefer to not go to the doctor unless they are feeling really sick, and since this virus at the beginning seems only like the flu some people may underestimate it and think they do not need a vaccine for it, it is odd but it is the only explanation I can think for what it is happening in Russia.

Ohio has a good immunization campaign program for the constituents of their country and I can say that they are all a lucky even if they don't win the lottery prize of $1 million because the government services is into the constituents meaning to say that the government really has a good plans for their constituents. But of course those who have had win the lottery prizes and those young ones who have had get their college sponsorship is very lucky to have this kind of opportunity came to their life. I am being told that the population in general doesn't trust the authorities in Russia. But the attitudes must change now. Because the Sputnik V vaccine is now approved in close to 70 countries, and real life studies (not clinical trials) have shown an efficacy ranging from 94% to 97%. If people still refuse to have the vaccine, then I can only sympathize with them. Heard that so far there have been close to half a million deaths in Russia. That is a huge number, for a country with a population of just 145 million.

People who have another disease will not prioritize first because they need to consult with their doctor before getting vaccinated. If their doctor said it is okay to vaccinate, they could get a letter from the doctor to go to the hospital and get vaccinated.

Yes, the virus already mutated to a new variant, making many governments worry about the spreading because it is attacking people. They got a fast reaction because of the virus. It needs more attention from people to always be careful, not going to the public if it is not necessary, and more care with their health. The virus attacks so many people right now, but the vaccine still distributes to people to help them prevent the infection.

Human life costs more than $ 1,000,000 ...

Currently, the planet Earth is being vaccinated against the Covid-19 coponavirus in many countries around the world.  How effective is this measure? 

I dont know. 

I'm a skeptic. 

We know very little about viruses.  In theory, the simultaneous vaccination of all inhabitants of the Earth (with a vaccine of the same type) can stop the epidemic.  However, vaccination cannot be carried out during a pandemic.  It is very dangerous to be vaccinated with different types of vaccines.  Vaccination cannot be partial, it must be complete. 

Humanity runs the risk of provoking a mutation of the virus.  Virus is a living organism.  His goal is to survive.

In fact this is already over the last winner was announced the previous Wednesday and it does not seem as if there are going to be more millions to give, but it is fine, this increased the number of people being vaccinated and this is going to help the economy in that state to flourish while the people got a free vaccine to protect them from the virus, so everyone won even if they did not got money out of this.
