Here is what is persuading me to buy Dodgecoin Dogecoin over BTC, but I could be wrong. What do you guys think? https://provscons.com/why-is-dogecoin-better-than-bitcoin/Logically speaking, the above link lists all the negatives of BTC and pros of using Dodgecoin Dogecoin over BTCThe article clearly mentions this: " Cryptos were not supposed to become collectible items. Over the years, however, Bitcoin became a collectible item" I think this is more about investing and making a profit. Dogecoin has always been a good coin to gamble because of their low level of transaction fee, it is nearly free compared to all other coins except maybe tron but the reality is that we have seen doge to become 4th biggest coin for a while and that should be the example why it is not doing that badly right now in the crypto market. The reality is that we are talking about profit here and when we are talking about profit bitcoin is wildly better, not even close. Doge has always been something that went up only because of Elon and since he has shut up about crypto because of all the terribleness he has caused, I doubt that doge will go up again, which is why I think we should be buying bitcoin and not dogecoin right now if only thing we care about is to have more money in the end. |

If you compare Bitcoin with another Altcoin which Logically have many good fundamentals over Bitcoin i think its a debatable thing.
But for comparing Bitcoin with a Memecoin like Doge is wasting time only, ofcourse Bitcoin is better.

Dogecoin is just a meme coin, whose survival is still in doubt. honestly I'm still hesitant to invest with the new Dogecoin. in contrast to bitcoin which is far more convincing as a digital currency that is very valuable and not just as a collectible but this is more of a form of digital investment that is better than coin memes.

Existing in parallel with bitcoin, dogecoin has almost wiped out doubts when the market has also had many value tests, challenges and as a special exception, dogecoin is always qualified to be altcoins that don't cheat fans but even if the evaluation criteria fit the requirements, dogecoin is not an architecture that is renewed in style often and has greatness. Almost working in the dark is the closest relationship to dogecoin while bitcoin has fewer such ambiguities, it is more about stylistic innovations as well as increasing persuasion with competence. |

BTC and Doge are the older generation who started the krypto world getting busier today. For me it's not a matter of which one is better, but think logically back to personal funds. If I'm more inclined to Doge which is cheap but the amount is large and safe. It is safe because it is a pioneer coin that has contributed to the name of the cryptocurrencies world.

I think, there are many better coins than dogecoin to compare to bitcoin. Some things to note about Dogecoin are, the large volume, and the push from Elon Musk. Besides, without Elon Musk, I don't think the price of Dogecoin would be this high. We don't know what the future holds, but when Elon Musk lets go of this investment, Doge's price will probably go back to the way it was.
however, the community of bitcoin users is much larger than that. logically, I would choose bitcoin.

Actually, those of you who have been familiar with the cryptocurrency world for a long time will also know Bitcoin and Dogecoin correctly and thoroughly, because basically Bitcoin and Dogecoin are coins that are different in category and age, where Bitcoin was born since 2009 and Dogecoin was born since 2013 but is still have lived until now and have also been in the top five cryptocurrencies in the past even though they are currently in the top 10 cryptocurrencies at this time, so if you are still doubtful about Dogecoin's life in the crypto space, it means you don't know Dogecoin properly and correctly. your knowledge is still like a newbie who just entered cryptocurrency. |

If you decide to buy dogecoin over bitcoin because of whatever you read, one question you should ask yourself is, is other people buying dogecoin for that same reason??? We know that investing in bitcoin will be better than investing in dogecoin, but most of us will suggest bitcoin as an investment but if you disagree with us, you can invest in dogecoin and not touches bitcoin at all. Investing in crypto depends on you, which coin you want to invest and only you will know how much money to use for your investment. Maybe you think that buying bitcoin needs a lot of money, so investing in dogecoin will be better. That is not wrong because there are no people who can stop you from choosing your crypto investment.

Want Bitcoin or Dogecoin, all the same. It is up to us to determine and analyze where the right time to hold the coin. But if told to choose, I would rather bitcoin than Dogecoin.

Despite all the negative side the article try to point out about btc, the level of acceptance keeps increasing, big institutions are not wasting time showing their interest to support btc, logically speaking, you should do a little research on that, see number of big institutions that have adopt btc so far and those that have adopt dogecoin and I believe it will give you some closure what the answer is

Never take advice to get DOGE but currently if you see the price now it is in complete downtrend,,, I would set a buy order for 300 satoshi and wait for a pump to 400 to sell.
OR set limit order for 100 and wait 5 more years for next BTC rally for sure DOGE always goes up again in the next bullrun.
Lesson: do not play with the dogecoin!

Anyone who says that doge "makes more sense logically" than bitcoin should either not have any investments in the world, or they should all-in to doge so that we would see them realize how wrong they were. It just doesn't make any sense for me to see people who think dogecoin is a proper coin and should be invested. I have never invested into doge and I believe that I would never invest into it neither.
It is weird to see these people who believe that it is a good investment, sure it hyped and went up a lot this year, but the reality is that Elon Musk made that happen for you, if he stops talking about it then it is going to be horrible and you will keep losing money over time as well. Learn the difference between what a hype is and what fundamentally good one is. I believe that anything that is fundamentally good and never into something just because it is hyped.

The article is just trying to get hits with traffic that's all and there's no need to doubt whether we choose Bitcoin or Doge. I'm sure why this forum is called BCT and not Dogetalk or something that represents the first crypto that Satoshi was developed. And it's clear that Bitcoin will stand alone with enough support of the people that's why we have this price right now. A meme coin won't ever get this level of price no matter how many years they operate. So, why choose altcoin(s) when there's Bitcoin already? I'm just telling this everything logically in case some of you got confused which to choose. |

In every logic Bitcoin is superior then doge coin. In my point of view we can not compare these two coins with each other. Bitcoin is far ahead of Doge coin in every department. Bitcoin is king of cryptocurrency. Almost all exchanges around the world has startes with Bitcoin not Dogecoin. They have paired other coin with btc not with Doge. Btc volume is gaining daily by daily much more then doge. So there is no comparison.

Actually both coins are equally good for you as well as others, because you can put Dogecoin for short term holding while your Bitcoin can put it for long term holding, so in general both are equally good to have. It is hardly worth evaluating cryptocurrencies by their profit as a result of short-term storage. I evaluate cryptocurrencies in terms of their overall prospect, including usefulness, development prospects, and long-term profitability. You can, of course, choose a cryptocurrency that makes a profit in a short time, but here the risk of losing our investment increases. After all, such cryptocurrencies can lose their high price at any time and will never return to it. Dogecoin belongs to such cryptocurrencies. I don't own Dogecoin at all as there are much more useful coins in this market. |

In terms of valuation i would always use Dogecoin than Bitcoin to gamble because i am not looking to make any huge profit, just wagging bets for fun and Dogecoin is a perfect coin to gamble   . @OP Logically does anyone in the right sense compares BTCitcoin along with any other coin in the market, let alone comparing a coin who has copied the source code of BTCitcoin, technically Dogecoin copied the source code of Litecoin while Litecoin copied BTCitcoin . |

If you're thinking that bitcoin has become a collectible item over the years. That's a wrong mindset but we're all entitled to what with think about it.
Bitcoin has become a store of value for everyone and that's why everyone wants to hold it. There's nothing bad in holding/collecting it and that's the reason why many should hold it.
The lesser the supply it has then that the value of it gets to increase so if you still don't have it, you better have it.
