Which is Better to invest in (LOGICALLY,) Bitcoin or Dogecoin?

Here is what is persuading me to buy Dodgecoin Dogecoin over BTC, but I could be wrong. What do you guys think?

So you come to Bitcoin forum in the Bitcoin area and.. I don't know, either try to convince bitcoiners that bitcoin is bad and a meme altcoin is superior, either want to get some hits for a website/blog?
Well, imho either of the two you're trying, you're doing it wrong. And in the wrong place.

Right now people have a belief that someone is trying to support dogecoin. Also dogecoin seems to be a low price coin which is also getting more importance among the new investors into the market. In one way or other dogecoin will have its dependence over bitcoin.

One request : Make the correction on the thread and the post. It is Dogecoin and not Dodgecoin.

So since the beginning of the launch of Bitcoin back in 2009, the poster did not realize that it was not supposed to be used as a collectible item to have informed us of this until now. Anyways I didn't bother to read the article because I really care less about what will be said and it is your choice to invest in whichever cryptocurrency you wish to without seeking anyone's advice cos it seems to me that you are seeking advice. Before the tweet, no one thought that investing in dogecoin was a thing but it is all I see these days.

It's not even a debate, bitcoin is much better than dogecoin in any ways. Dogecoin is just hyped at the moment because of what Elon Musk is doing and because of what he did on bitcoin. Later on, bitcoin will still continue on dominating the market and dogecoin might stay still on how it is at the moment and bitcoin will continue on soaring high as it recovers from the current issue. There's more to expect in bitcoin than dogecoin and even after many years, we will witness how powerful bitcoin is and how much of a failure dogecoin might probably be.

This is the Bitcoin Discussion of the forum so I am pretty sure that you know the answer for yourself regarding which one. Look at the price chart of bitcoin and compare it to the other one and I am pretty sure that bitcoin is better than any other coins.

I am sorry for you if your opinion can be based on the positions of this article. You can argue as much as you like and argue why Bitcoin is worse or better than Doge, but there are an incredible number of fundamental coins that are many times better than Doge, however, as they say, "Bitcoin began to sneeze", and their rate has already collapsed. My opinion is that the Doge course is held only by Elon Musk, unfortunately, when people understand that there is no fundamental behind this coin, and that the opinion of one person can also change, the Doge course will instantly be lower than the value from which it began his incredible ascent.

Bitcoin is still the most valuable cryptocurrency after these years of development. Imagine, thousands of people developing thousands of projects for many years and all of them together can't beat one single currency, because Bitcoin is superior by many means. I do love alts, but I understand the value of Bitcoin. Also, doge is a shitcoin with no value and what Elon doing is similar or even worse than what McAfee did before. You should pay less attention to what people say and do your own research, it is your money after all.

I'm still uncomfortable with BTC path/future. I mean, its main purpose is to serve as a currency, however, it is now being used as store of value.

As we all know, it's much cheaper to buy something with credit card (including currency conversion) than to buy with BTC and pay ridiculous high transaction fees. If this continues, how will BTC maintain its value if it lost its main purpose (serving as currency?) Or will it just become a collector's coin (something to brag about to the rich in the future having a BTC in your wallet?)

What if an altcoin pop-up with actual developers that can solve all of BTC issues? Then what will happen to BTC? This is my worry.

I mean seriously, 12 years now and BTC still can't fix its own issues? Really? Maybe Elon Musk did this move to add pressure on BTC community to fix its issues soon to become mainstream? Who knows.....

Tell that to the NFT market place. Bitcoin is becoming a store of value so people who are believing it will no doubtedly going to hold it. What's the sense about it saying that it's becoming a collectible item?

There's no difference from what you're going to do upon purchase of Dogecoin. If your preference is to buy Dogecoin, you do it and no one will stop you and the same to us who prefer to hold bitcoin too and at the same time got some altcoins on hold too.

BTC is not kind of hype coin,  dofferent with Doge. 
If elon doesn't do something with this coin,  will it really be like this?  The price manipulation and also Elon's influence is very big and that is why he often does something as he likes

the OP has all the freedom to list all the pros and cons of doge over bitcoin. but maybe to clear his mind, he can also make an article towards btc - why bitcoin is better than doge? and for sure, he will come up with much more valid reasons.

it would be interesting if one day, Elon ditched the doge project and look for another project. can he still confidently make logical reasons why doge is better than btc? with BTC, it is not dependent on one person alone, as it depends on the community's supply and demand.

It's the classic "x is better than BTC because fees and transaction speed" argument again, and don't even get me started with the other points. What are we supposed to use bitcoin for, it can't be fully used as a mode of payment plus it is completely different from a simple fiat money so I don't think that you are right that crypto become a collectible because it is an asset. Also, I would say that bitcoin is much better than DOGE coin because it yields more profit over time than DOGE.

Please note, do not take my reply as a financial advice, it is simply my opinion. I am not so much a big fan of doge coin, so of it is doge coin against bitcoin, I will choose to invest more in bitcoin anytime any day because compared to doge coin, it is a better store of value.

Logically, I will choose Bitcoin (BTC) for sure.
Dogecoin won't reach top 3 at this state, BTC will become bigger in the near future, for this time it's just all short correction.
BTC will keep become the mother of altcoins even in this red zone state.

Logically, of course we would think BTC is clearly superior to DOGE, as BTC is the mother of all altcoins. But looking at current market conditions, I personally prefer DOGE, because at least DOGE hasn't decreased very much, and it's still going sideways.
