It is dumped now almost I think 5% within a day in the market, --but I noticed this when the weekend comes, it usually the market price was in red colors and it dropped the price including altcoins. That is right, the market price is unpredictable and no one knows when it will spike again in the market. However, during this situation, there are only two options that we need to do. Just hold or just accumulate while they are cheap and for sure it will surge back the price after the next few days. The $10k price prediction was too low for me and I don't think it will drop too much at that range. But let us see what will happen next.

it's true that 10k is an unrealistic price. there will definitely be a big wall preventing that from happening. even before the price reaches 20k, there will be a lot of people queuing to buy bitcoins. but regardless of how far bitcoin falls, it will still have an impact on altcoins later. and one thing that can not be avoided at this time, the down trend has started. so just pray, bitcoin can survive this pressure.

The dump is happening right now. I think it's not the big dump that you're thinking but it might occur anytime soon. China again released bad news about cryptocurrency, I think it's their strategy to promote their own digital currency or big people plan this to buy more before it will skyrocket. There is more chance for price dump. Right now the market tries to gain resistance and stay above $35000, we don't know how long this could sustain. If this downward resistance gets broken there is more chance of price reaching low to $25000 before the big bull run for the year. Anyhow there is big rise in the real-time usage and support from different countries around the globe. This will keep the market progressive than decline in the long term.

Even the price will not fall that much we still need to monitor our investment now, I already learned from my 2017 experience wherein I invested in many altcoins but ended at lose since some of them were not available to recover. Make sure to monitor or invest only in top altcoins and bitcoin for safe holding. We never know what the market status still will be.

Yes, we will not only see a dump, but will also spend a lot of time waiting for the pump to happen again. This dump will be going on for the long haul. If at the end of the year there is no change, then we have to wait for the next three years.

I don't think we have to wait for another three years, it's just an expected after rally phase. I think we will see second part of bull rally starting in late Summer or early Autumn, then when that rally finish we will be in real bear market. Right now prices are still too high to talk about bear market, BTC is at 33k and major altcoins are still around half of their top prices. Short term trading is risky but people who buy coins at dip would still make good money.

Honestly I am first time hearing such a suggestion still I agree with you because even bitcoin core developers themselves do call bitcoin as an experimental yet interesting project hence risking at your affordable level will help you in many ways. I always make sure that I have enough money saved up to survive 2 years without having to sell anything. The last bear markets taught me to do so.

There are some things that you can be certain when it comes to crypto. One is that it always comes up and down, so if you feel bad and at a loss just hold it and it will eventually go back up.
The other that when you feel like the world is coming to an end because you've lost like 60% of your money it usually means that the sell pressure is coming to an end. Don't make the mistake of selling when the market is down 60%.
