It is not really surprising that Bitcoin is still alive for the fact that if you have been here for long enough, you maybe have already witnessed on how Bitcoin struggled and survived the many ups and downs on the past years of its existence and have made it through until this point of time which is really good since many are benefiting on its existence. Well, it is just right that Bitcoin still alive and do exist because of the influential people but that is not just them but also all the people who supports and believes on it as well because of they were all gone, how can you possibly think of something to still exist without no one supporting or using it. Btc shouldn't be alive? Btc brought this revolutionary asset class into existence, its Blockchain is one of the most secure Blockchains in the world, and who says it does not have any utility or use cases? Whatever Ethereum and other tokens have to offer, all the features were available in btc and can still be added to it. Cryptocurrencies exist because bitcoin was the first step, why shouldn't btc be alive?

Bitcoin full potential hasn't been achieved yet, if all that's on the other so called better blockchain was to be built on the Bitcoin network, it would had perform more better and been more decentralized that what we're currently experiencing.

The irony is that, this is a Bitcoin forum. The main coin on this forum is Bitcoin. This is not an Ether forum, and definitely this is not a Dogecoin forum. This is a bitcoin forum. No matter what methods he use to spread hate over Bitcoin, he will simply fail in attracting followers here and shared their mutual hate over the coin. Bitcoin is still the King of the coin and nothing will replace it. Bitcoin is the benchmark for all altcoins today. Bitcoin and altcoins cannot be compared. Bitcoin remains the favorite and the main Coin.
For the problem, the price has indeed exceeded bitcoin, but it can never replace it.

Are you really surprised that the King Bitcoin is still alive? Bitcoin is the largest and top 1 cryptocurrency all over the world and also when it comes to the market cap and supply. Then why are you surprised that bitcoin is still alive and comparing it to Ethereum? Ethereum is really a good cryptocurrency or altcoin but what I am pointing out is that comparing these two good coins is far more than we are expected. The things is that the support does not come for free, if bitcoin was the first coin ever created but it had a bunch of flawed concepts like many coins of today do then I have no doubts that another coin would have taken its place at the top and we will remember bitcoin as the original coin and nothing more, however satoshi was such a genius and thought about every single detail that bitcoin was an incredible coin even at release and even at this point it is better than every single other coin in this market.

When comparing the bitcoin technology to the Ethereum Network it is so obvious that the Ethereum Network is much better even though Bitcoin has a bigger market cap and the top 1 cryptocurrency the Technology of bitcoin is just out of date compared to the other new altcoins in the market. 

The obvious difference here is bitcoin just want to be money, or you could easily compare it to fiat, and now it's like the 2nd version of gold and great to store the value, but since bitcoin has a volatile market price it just doesn't fit it at this time so if we buy something using bitcoin it might be worth millions in the coming years just like what happened to the pizza guy. So the best thing to do is to hold bitcoin since it's better as an investment than just spending it.

Ethereum is just a different cryptocurrency since Ethereum has contracts and networks, I mean I honestly believed that Ethereum is just so undervalued at this time so who knows if it's going to surpass bitcoin in just a few years. But the marketcap of bitcoin is sure cannot be surpassed by Ethereum since bitcoin has a fixed supply of 21 million comparing to the EThereum that has an unlimited supply which is like a currency. There are billions of people that believed in bitcoin could be the future and probably the safest investment that you could make as well and with the huge community you cannot expect Bitcoin to just die.
