It's getting harder and harder as time goes by. Ethereum has passed the USD ATH by far, yet it still hasn't been able to surpass the ATH in the BTC parity! Bitcoin seems to still win the most in the long term. It's moving markets (as you can see, anytime Bitcoin drops everything else drops too and vice-versa), it's the top 1 and every time some other coin tries to surpass it, Bitcoin goes wild.

In terms of USD, maybe. But in terms of BTC, only a few will..

EOS just surpass its EOSBTC Downtrend resistance, but when Bitcoin dumps, its just going back down.
BTC still very strong agains alt recently, i think only Doge which can flip its position agains BTC atm, its really shameful.

I think there's no more alt season because everything will go up if Bitcoin goes up.  Every altcoin has been followed the Bitcoin dominance in the market and as you can see there, they are almost the same pattern of growth.

And yes, it's always proven and tested that Bitcoin is the strongest among altcoin and in all altcoins, it will always lead by the Ethereum nothing else of them even surpass the Ethereum, I have doubt with the BSC but since they are forked with Ethereum it will remain followed to the Ethereum price.

Unless, if there's an altcoin under with the pump and dump group will surely have a different way of movement.

It must be after bitcoin will be doing another major break out to surpass its ATH again. ADA will increase after bitcoin will be stabilize after a big pump. You can also learn from the chart that happened a few months ago and you will see what will be the main point for the altcoin to break another ATH again in satoshi.
Bitcoin must have surpassed its ATH and this will bring big bull trend.

there are influencers who bet ETH will be more useful in the future and will surpass BTC because ETH is a platform for which anyone could create an asset. they are comparing these to the old dotcom technology like internet explorer or netscape which was replaced eventually by firefox and chrome. there could be truth to these but ultimately when you look at the facts, those are fud.

if you want to invest in altcoins, they have their own phase and ATHs.

There are plenty of chances by some altcoins to break their ATH of course those are depend on their project. But I can sense a great deal with cardano, matic, fantom and avax will surpass their ATH this year as their product or immense growth happening with the ecosystem of these projects. Not to mention matic are literally off the charts and outperforming a lot of projects.

There's no chance for that to happen, not in our current era. maybe it will happen in the next century but for us to think about that right now, is quietly not a good thing to do. All of this is only some sort of speculation because none of us can tell what would happen next year in the crypto industry let alone knowing what's gonna happen in the next century. Nevertheless, we see the price of Altcoins crashing right now and more people are panicked selling their crypto assets because of it. maybe if we see the price of all coins will continue to grow without a stop in the coming years, that's when the time that we can increase the chance for that to happen.

Major altcoins can but they need a support from Bitcoin.

Bitcoin need to give investors confirmation that it won't crash more and won't have a bear market that last for few years. After that confirmation, if Bitcoin moves side way, top altcoins can rise again.

If you see how YFI have a few fold higher than BTC , you will see top altcoins can reclaim their Satoshi all time highs. It is not easy.

This is beyond of my prediction, many altcoin surpass ATH, not only ADA but others like VET, ETH, BNB and others. But also many altcoins still below ATH, this is depending on the each fundamental of crypto. For next, some altcoin also has high possibility to surpass ATH because this is just beginning of bullish market.  According to my technical and fundamental analysis, some altcoin like LTC have potensial to going to new ATH around $1000.

Since you are looking for major altcoins to set new all time highs against Bitcoin means you are expecting the valuation of Bitcoin going down while the valuation of alts moving higher  .
Its a good dream and anyone creating shit coins will be having these dreams so that they imagine they could hold a huge number of Bitcoin and some even made fortune with these but i am not expecting the alts to move higher when Bitcoin is going down  .

Though BNB and other new top alts which wasn’t launched in previous bull market, are made new ATH on both btc and usdt pair. But many alts are still far from their previous ATH on btc pair. Maybe few tops will be able to make new ATH soon, but most of the alts won't be able to do that as many of those alts are still more 80% away from the previous ATH on bitcoin pair.

 

According to my technical and fundamental analysis, some altcoin like LTC have potensial to going to new ATH around $1000.

Even it’s a huge target, but it can be done on USDT pair, not against BTC pair as LTC is only moving downwards in terms of satoshi from the last bull market.

Matic is already creating a new ATH in satoshi and USDT and I think the other coins are on the way to do the same. But if bitcoin is not moving to a high price, it will not be easy for an altcoin to follow the moves. If bitcoin can get a sideway moment, maybe many altcoins will use that to lift the price and hopefully, that can happen in the next month. Everything can happen in the future, so bitcoin will have a big chance of increasing and breaking $50k or even reaching $60k back. If that can happen, the altcoin season can start again.

There will be only a few altcoins that can touch the new ATH in Bitcoins and some are already able to do it such as ETH, BNB, Doge and some others can be checked directly via CMC, but new ATH achievements in altcoins are highly dependent on BTC price movements, however not all altcoins will be able to pass their ATH prices based on Bitcoin most likely based on USD, and mostly altcoin that can reached new ath in bitcoin which have good development implementation.
