i'd rather recommend something clear and definite, maybe new projects have promising potential but it's risky if they can't survive.

No gain no pain and you will never earn profit if you didn't wanna deal with the risk in the market. The old projects can give us the chance to lose our money as well. The new project has more room to growth compared witht he old coins. The old coins were also starting from the small project in the past but it was giving good development result and that was making it to be even bigger from time to the time.

What is BTC's Altcoins? is there any specific coins that you are pointing? or you mean Forked Bitcoin? because Ethereum is also an altcoin in which the one that your friend planning to invest for.

If I were you, I would invest in BNB and TKO in the current drop market, one more thing I recommend is Jindo Inu, this coin is often sideways with BTC, so long/short term investments can still be tried.

First, do your own research. Dont rely on other's advices because you might get rekt if you follow what others has to say. Its still better to gain knowledge and gather informations about to have your own understanding and to know the risk.

I dont want to name coins because there are too many of them. But if you want the less risky coins then go for the top 10 in CMC, they're already established and has utility. But still, its a must to conduct a background check for each of them.

Indeed, all prices are currently falling, but there are some alts that have experienced good price growth, such as BNB and DOGE. but this is just a prediction and temporary analysis from me and not from a professional analysis.. if you want to buy, buy when the price is down..

Analysis can be change day by day depends the market condition and news that can affects the price action of the altcoins. OP should also do his own research about the tokens that he will invest. OP should also check tokens like BNB, THETA, & INJ then he can make his own decision whether he will invest to these coins.
