What about Litecoin?

Litecoin is my favourite since 2017 for my transactions but for an investment litecoin is increasing pretty slowly & steady so i don't like it's movement .

If it's just a transaction, I don't think it can be made as a favorite, because you only use Litecoin with low transaction fees. Favorites are coins that are used for short-term and long-term investments, even these coins are invested more than other coins.

If DOGE went all the way from being worth nothing all the way to nearly $1 per coin, then Litecoin can do much more than that.

Sometimes, it is not about the potential the coin has but all about the hype around it. If the community is large enough then more people, usually newbies will follow.

Yes, it is not fair how DOGE can gain this momentum considering the close to nothing value it provides as a token but unfortunately it's the reality.

Last time I've checked, LTC developers announced the "Mimblewimble" privacy technique. I don't know if it's already been implemented since I haven't been catching up with the project's progress. Adding new features to a Blockchain should make the underlying cryptocurrency soar all the way to the moon. Yet, nothing is happening as LTC remains stagnant in price.

You're right, usually a main net upgrade should send the price skyrocketing at least for some time but that hasn't happened and it may all just be down to marketing???

If not enough people know about it, equally not many people would buy the coin. The speculation on LTC has been almost close to nothing and it is interesting how people have grown out of LTC phase and sorta moved over to meme coins and NFTs.

Thats weird, my best time has been 2 minutes and the worst one up to 5 mins with low l/byte.

for litecoin still has a future. it's just that it might take a long time for Litecoin to have such a fantastic price. just look at the increase in crypto prices in Q1 2021 litecoin even stands still and doesn't move. it can be said if this litecoin is like being held back by something that makes litecoin run slowly.

I have always considered Litecoin as one of the most undervalued coins in the cryptocurrency market. I agree that the technology is not that advanced and LTC is a first-generation cryptocurrency. But the acceptability is very high and the low transaction fee and relative safety has ensured that this level doesn't go down as a result of competition. The developers have also worked hard, to eliminate any bugs that could be targeted by the hackers. LTC is one of the coins that I have in my portfolio and I have no plans to dump them anytime soon.

Litecoin has a fairly large market capitalization, so it costs a lot of money to do it, and of course the person who will do it must have an influence on crypto development and have a large following. therefore more pumps occur in new projects, which are still easier to manipulate

Very slowly for Litecoin back to higher price and keep increase above $200 very hard happen it, when bitcoin success break $50,000 litecoin only stuck above $180 before going dump today under $170, maybe take one or two month and bitcoin success up above $60,000 to see litecoin back $300 again, I am stuck bought litecoin with $300 and now still hold.

I agree with you that it is difficult for the coin to exceed the price of BTC because of the initial fundamentals of the coin, let alone shift it to the second position in any way.

Litecoin coin is a good low fee coin like other coins.  LTC like TRX is very useful for transactions.  This is because people who use it to transfer from one exchange to another are more likely to use it at a very low speed.

Litecoin is good for transactions if you can not afford transaction fee on Bitcoin network. Litecoin is better than TRX in transactions because the network of Litecoin has more total hashrates than TRX. It means you will have better secured transactions with Litecoin network.

Both networks are good if you're looking for chains with cheap transaction fees. However, if I don't move USDT or TRX directly, I will choose either Bitcoin, Ethereum or Litecoin for my transactions.

In addition to all the listed advantages that the coin has, LTC is still a very good investment tool. Even now, when it is at $ 170. it still looks promising and is able to generate profit for those investors who will buy it now. What your prediction guys when Litecoin price above $300? I see every day not yet can up above 10$ and no stable keep going up how ever when bitcoin dump most easy to down but hard up when bitcoin have higher price. What have I do because buy Litecoin when price still up and now pass about three months keep hold it, better to hold or sell to recovery my loss. Now bitcoin not stable with higher price and waiting when litecoin back to higher price.

That's certainly true, mate. But there's more to a cryptocurrency project than just a few tweaks in its code. What makes Litecoin special is the community, and established presence in the crypto/Blockchain space. It's a tried-and-tested blockchain network that has survived all these years without any interruptions whatsoever (unlike other newer projects like Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin SV).  Now the project aims to distance itself from Bitcoin with the adoption of a privacy technique called "Mimblewimble". If successfully implemented, Litecoin could gain the attention of mainstream traders and investors alike.

The reason why LTC hasn't soared to new heights is because people are mainly focused on "De-Fi" and NFTs. It's no wonder why cryptocurrencies with smart contract functionalities are in the top spots in market cap. Ultimately, what matters is usability. I wouldn't care much about the price as long as Litecoin remains a useful cryptocurrency for day-to-day payments. Just my opinion

Charlie Lee announced its plan in 2019 and after 2 years, there is no big upgrade with Mimblewimble. I am waiting for his announcement.

Usability of NFT are useless, it is my thought. They are created for pump and dump to die. They are useless long term.

Agree. Litecoin may never go away since it's one of the oldest cryptocurrencies in existence with a tried-and-tested blockchain network. Other altcoins easily become a victim of a 51% attack due to their low hashrate. They don't have an established presence in the mainstream world, since they're just starting to blossom. To my knowledge, there hasn't been a single network disruption on LTC. Based on this, we can say Litecoin is sound money just like Bitcoin. Not only that, but Litecoin's supply is extremely limited compared to the rest of the other altcoins on the market. Only 84 million coins will ever be mined, making Litecoin second next to Bitcoin in terms of scarcity.

Unfortunately, demand for LTC is low because people are mainly focused on "De-Fi" and NFTs. The industry is revolving around smart contracts these days, so single-purpose Blockchain networks like Litecoin are left behind in the dust. I wouldn't worry much about Litecoin's price since it's all about utility. As long as Litecoin is useful, nothing else matters. Just my opinion
