El Salvador launched their own government-approved Chivo wallet to educate the public, giving them $30 in free bitcoin. This was done to spark interest and curiosity in the people of El Salvador.
President Nayib Bukele appointed Max Kaiser & Stacy as special advisors on Bitcoin to ensure that they always have constructive discussions on Bitcoin.
