This is sad, considering that the aforementioned coins have a proven track record of stability and reliability. New coins are usually less secure than old ones. Buying the old coin is not worth anymore except the popular old coins like doge, litecoin or something else and why? this project already lost interest from the investors and traders.

In my opinion.  If you want to buy old coins.  Buy one with a strong project and fundamentals.  Like ltc, waves doge and solana.  If you buy coins that are left behind and the project is not great, you will most likely be left behind.

it is very difficult to see the movement of old coins that have lost interest in the eyes of investors. especially with an increasingly sophisticated update system DeFi has attracted many enthusiasts.
I can't recommend for old coins, because it depends on how you see the future. As far as I'm concerned, for now, the race against the latest released coins depends on how strong they are in the crypto market and how strong their appeal to investors is.
we must not forget the old coins that are still running today. However, old coin managers also have to make changes and adapt to the latest technological developments in order to exist and be able to compete.

Wasn't Filecoin one of the oldest coins that gained a lot in the last few months? Who knows if the other old coins can replicate that. The problem with these old coins nowadays is the lack of exposure. They don't have a presence in popular forums like Bitcointalk and I bet a lot of newbie investors haven't heard of them. I even thought Quark and QuarkChain are the same to be honest.

I don't think so but if you've got some spare money and you just want to feel that vibe and you think that it's still worth buying then buy some. There's nothing to lose upon putting a small budget for these types of coins as long as you're okay to lose them with these coins.
But put them only with those old coins that still have quite high liquidity so you're still on a good track for that coin that you're about to buy. You may hit a jackpot if any of them pumped unexpectedly and that's usually happening.

Old coins are getting piled up since upcoming projects and updates of newer coins are continuous and enormous, right now the market is driven on a coins' popularity to investors and not its potential, of course buying old coins would still get you some profit but you cannot expect the same profit you'll get from hyped and famous coins.

I have heard about these coins, but I remember their ideas, I also didn’t think about these coins if you didn’t remind me.

You have been on the forum since 2014, tell us what do you think about before investing? Do you see that the price of the coin has dropped to a certain value and are you planning to buy it for luck?

I invest in ethereum, polcadot and other projects, but I understand why their price will rise. I may be wrong, but I understand what I am doing and I have my own risk management.

If you want to buy any coin, then answer yourself the question why its price will rise, and invest according to your risk management mind.

That's not entirely true. New coins are not less secure if the tech is implemented in the right way.
Yes newer technology might have greater of chance of vulnerabilities but at the same time it improvises the efficiency and integrity.

But I get what your point is. Older coins are a good to invest in but at the same time it should still have value and active developments.
Only then it is worth to invest in it. There's no point in investing in old coins which are not active in developments and improvising the product.

indeed old coins look very tempting to buy back, because the price is cheap. but I think old coins will be very difficult to revive, the main cause is the difference in technology used and outdated

I think you can buy old coins with a note that the coins you buy are coins that have good fundamentals because I think some old coins are starting to be worthless because investors have started to abandon them and some are starting to be abandoned by developers. but for old coins like ltc I think you can still consider it besides doge can also be an option even though this coin is very high risk but what's the problem if you buy it and do scalping

I remember Quarkchain and how noisy it was. They even launched a bounty in the past months so as not to be forgotten. But, you know the market just swallows most of them over time and is forgotten, so the more profitable is always used more actively. At the same time I guess the future will not be better for such forgotten projects. And going against the current is certainly not the solution, the real solution is to find the truth in the current. Maybe you should continue from this way?

In the past years there is an old coins that I invested in a herocoin play and I earn of these kind of old altcoins it was started in a year 2017 but now I stop to buy more because since they step put in a year 0f 2020 they are no longer to raise the price a little bit but its always in a CMC. And in this time i found out that they increasing the price again but not to high so maybe I just need to think about if I want to buy or not.

And those old altcoins mentioning from OP im not familiar yet of what year they release that altcoins. And there are so many old altcoins banishing if the project was not totally being update not improving the of what the project are.

Old altcoins are my favorite if those altcoins have a great volume. Primecoin is a very old altcoins but the maximum supply is unknown and volume isn't good. The top any exchanges don't support these altcoins. This coin could be the best example that exchange support must be needed. You found a very good old coin which cost 3 USD in 2013! If I have an amount of money even though I won't buy these altcoins.

Not all old coins are promising coins. Moreover, I wonder how the team can really make the coin survive in the crypto world. Moreover, the era is always developing, sometimes a team should also make some progress in order to make the coin more interesting and also can give stronger fundamentals today. So, many people will be interested again in the coin. However, there are no significant changes especially in the market of those coins.
And I personally, will prefer old coins that are worthy and promising with their strong fundamentals, big community, and also active teams. Btw, today coins or tokens newly are probably worthy for trading, utilizing the time to take profits with the new coins. But not or long-term because it may end up soon like what we have seen newly. Well, whether old or new coin shouldn't be the basis to buy it or not. As long as it has a true potential in the market and possible give you an income, then it is really worth it.

it doesn't hurt to buy old coins, there are some old coins that are still cheap at this time, such as NXT and Ignis,
both from the Jelurida project, of course there is still great potential to gain a lot of profit when the altcoin season arrives,
try going to Bittrex and buy NXT there, Unfortunately Binance still doesn't list these two coins

There are a lot of worth-it-old coins in the market like ADA or polkadots, it was just some old profits that are now exploded and have good potential at this time. Mostly a lot of old coins are not worth investing in at all since there are a lot of coins that don't really have a movement in the market or pump in the past years, something like EOS Even polkadot doesn't have market movement after it reaches around 40$ in the market.

Surely it's a volatile market so at any moment some coin could just explode but we couldn't actually invest in all of it, I guess it is not always worth it unless it's Bitcoin or Ethereum. I think it's better to always keep your money moving so I always convert some of my old coins into another token that has a lot of market movement.

Old coins that are still relatively popular can be a good buy. Just look at doge which hasn't received any major updates in years. It was immediately picked up by the meme community and eventually a lot of retail investors together with serious investors as well, made it to where it was just a few weeks back. Of course, it's a high risk, high reward play paired with extreme luck, so not every old coin is a good buy. You really have to analyze whether you'll be picking valuable rocks or diamonds on a rock.

You never know. We shouldn't just say like "It is an old coin. It won't make me a good amount of money.". Being the oldest or newest is not the most important criterion. The condition of the project is the most important.
