I am not really considering this from crypto point of view, all I can see here is a tragedy of a persons life, dude was not this insane person back in the day, he was a great guy and then he turned into this person. He was a troubled person, this guy worked for NASA (which is as hard as you can go as a profession in employee life if you do not own your company), worked for xerox as well and worked for lockheed too!

These are all huge companies and dude wasn't even 40 by that time and worked in 3 MAJOR companies thanks to his talents. He created his company, sold it and made bunch of money and then created a ton of startups with that money as well. This was when he was fine, then between belize things, underage girlfriend discussions and more and more and more stuff happened and we all know what type of person he became, it is a shame that such a wonderful life start had to end with something like this.

However, even though he often makes a controversial statement and sometimes it sounds ridiculous, he has been a person who influenced the world of Crypto. And also ideas and their involvement in various business worlds, of course, have given a lot of chance and also success. Everyone must not only have good but also weakness. But now, let's pray for him to get the best place.

somehow sad , still yet to find something tangible to believe about his death. i dont believe he committed suicide and knowing that he was always speaking against the bad deeds of the government. am sure something will still come up later that will be reveal the some good truth.

My feelings for late John McAfee was neutral, I didn't love or hate him, though he was well known in the crypto space for shilling mostly shitcoins and in that process, some innocent individuals end up loosing money, but I never hated him for that, but I also didn't love him either.
To some extent, he of course has contributed to the growth of crypto currencies today, some people discovered and joined crypto through him and his tweets, even though almost if not 100 percent of all he did was for his own gain, but then we will still miss him, I will miss him, and I pray that by the mercy of God almighty, that his soul find rest in the bossom of our lord Jesus.. If you think about how his life turns out, it's really disturbing. You have to put it in mind that no one wants to have a mess up life. two sides of stories but I strongly believe he didn't kill himself.

He must have been affected by the social media discussions like the scams he did in the past. But you got to see how eccentric he is, he is strange and I can think how much privacy had he give up to the government when he still has the software company where NSA had to get in. I bet he was forced to sell it.

No one really knows what happen, The only thing we know is he is dead and that's it. If his been poisoned or commit a suicide then it will remain an speculation. Im sure mainstream media will try to create a story out of this since its currently trending in the world of crypto.

What you can do is to specualte but there's no sure assurance that evidence coming from the jail personnel is completely authentic.

Rest in Peace John, he'll be remembered not just for his virus protection software but also within the crypto space where he's active back then when the market still young.

Whatever he was he was a clever fame hungry man. He tweeted that he would not kill himself, then killed himself. Knowing that the conspiracy theories will go on and on and hence his name will go on too. He was scared of going to the us and spending his remaining days in prison. He did kill himself imo but left it open so people speak of him.

Fame hungry maybe not really,,, I think he was already famous and in his older age he found a time and admiration for his golden era. I know he was a good man deep down just deeply troubled,,, not to forget all his unethical behavior for crypto (but at least he was honestly saying he was a shiller for money, so cannot really say he did not warn people).

i check johns twitter account and his last tweet was on june 26 .
i also check the news and they all tells the same that mcafee is really dead .
it wasnt a lie but the media has the power to hide the real cause of johns death . john could be telling the truth and there could be a foul play that happen .

As you already said he was quite a controversial person in the crypto space because of his actions. He was a pioneer for crypto currencies way before elon musk and for that everyone in the crypto-space should be thankful. On the other hand, he did not shy away from openly and aggressively shilling crypto projects that he either owned or was associated with. He did that so oft that it did not have much effect anymore on the lasts projects he shilled. The charges of financial crimes against him were also partly crypto related so he really was one of us i guess and he was already 75 years old and lived a life that was probably very exciting. RIP

Watching a lot of Hollywood movies sometimes gives a lot of hints maybe on how the justice system works not just in the US but worldwide. But I don't think he will be tortured or forced to suffer whatever that means. He will be extradited for tax charges and crypto fraud in the US and will spend the rest his life in prison. Spend his life in prison away from a normal life which I think is too much for him that he took his life so it can end abruptly. Depression creeps in and it will fuel your desire to end your life in an instant.
