I don't think that was more sense knowing that social media platforms can't be trusted. They don't have knowledge about crypto and what we can expect from them, a manipulated articles, scripted feedbacks?
No, social media is not the right place to ask in regard to crypto investment. If we really care about the safety of our funds and aiming for a profit, it was best to make diggings on our own rather than relying on social platforms. Coz for me, I'd never look into them but just go for the top exchanges for some verification and assessments.

I think nowadays it is very difficult for us to find the correct information on how good the coin or token is, because nowadays many developers have even manipulated the news on social media and other information platforms and we can see how they hire influencers to campaign news that is positive for the coin or token regardless of whether the information is true or not.

Do some research and analysis about the token, never using your instinct. look at the volume on the market.

In recent time we have no good projects with better use case so better try to have with already working and solid projects because these are good and having good ROI with good communities devs are also having good intention to bringing new features projects development is very important which are happening in just very few.

If you are not tolerant to risk, you had better not trade new altcoins as they are really risky. What is more, a number of scams nowaday is extremely huge. What do I to find a good coin for investing is I open a table of top-100 on coinmarketcap and look for coins that are not on highs now and have a potential to grow again and then I investigate such points as ideas, documents, partnerships and development team.

Every project can list there token on coinmarketcap for track there token price and volume. but all project is not good. now almost 70% scam project get listed on coinmarketcap . coinmarketcap are not verify any token or project. if any project apply for listing they added this project immediately. so i am not trust coinmarketcap now . you can follow coingacko they review every project hardly before listing. and you shouldn’t invest in any token without research hardly and check there future roadmap and development. and you must check token marketcap & trading volume and which exchange listed . you must focus for Kucoin , FTX , Binance, MEXC thous exchange listed token  and more exchange like these

Do your own research, if you don't know what's good or bad, find out how to shape a worthwhile project and survive and thrive in this market. However, personally I still think that there are only a few top platforms and things people have always wanted to hold onto in this market, so it shouldn't be too hard to judge them all for yourself.

I bought Polkadot this coin will grow, if the rancor allows. The project is powerful and productive, the guys have done something new and on which you can build really good projects.
