The real reason why people invest in new projects (new coins), it is because they offer bigger profits. New coins are very volatile, they can increase very significantly. But they also can drop very significantly, too. Even, the price can be zero if they turned to be a scam. People choose BTC or ETH because these coins are trusted, while new coins have high risks.

I don't expect much from new projects even though they offer a lot of advantages. If we look, all new projects will offer that, because their main goal is to attract the attention of investors to join the projects they are running. So from there we have to consider, because today I'm not going to say all, but almost every new project is mostly a scam.
Meanwhile, if we invest in trusted coins, especially bitcoin, then our risk will be lower to experience fraud.

I think someone told you that new Token can give you maximum profit but it's not true because from hundred projecs there is possibility of one token having smart community gives maximum profit to investors. The first question is how much fund you have and what is your status (Student or Job working). Money management is must if you want to invest in Crypto. If you are job worker then I will recommend you SIP in top coins like Matic,Dot,Aptos,OP. Currently all these coins are up so I will not recommend at this time.
