Dogecoin is 100% a pump and dump coin and always has been.  

not 100 percent pump and dump because doge still have some value but a true pump and dump could die instantly right after it pumped. doge started differently like they said it was used in gambling , in exchanges .
its an alternative to coins that have a higher fee  but dogecoin were later manipulated and it gets worse when elon came in .

Dogecoin will still be a meme coin, but that could be changed as we do not know what will happen in the future. Dogecoin can be back to the lower price soon, but it will increase again in the future, especially if bitcoin price can start another rally and if that happens, we will see another bull run. But dogecoin can be a coin used in many gambling sites because the coin is suitable for gamble.

I use it before for gambling since BTC and ETH have high transaction fee it was one of my alternative to have a cheaper fee and continue to gamble.
And now it is being used to manipulate others being hype or pump and dump.

Elon Musk still insists on Doge, but apparently things are not going his way, when he started to give good publicity about BTC, he had the world at his feet, after he made the big FUD the crypto community started To stop believing in him, I think that he no longer has the same influence on people as before, in fact this article talks about it:

This moment would come sooner or later, the good thing is that for now Elon Musk has no influence on BTC, and Doge can influence but as you can see, he no longer has the power of before, unfortunately he did the damage he had to do and no one anymore believe him.

I am not a huge believer in dogecoin myself but if you ask purpose then what is the purpose of so many coins either? I mean Bitcoin alone was sufficient why the needs of BCH, litecoin, and all others? I don't think every coin serves a purpose.

Dogecoins was my favorite coin a year ago or two when the coin was near worthless and was meant to be fun. I used to gamble with dogecoins and in various groups, we used to tip each other with the coin for fun and I recall some chatting websites were there where users would get some small dogecoins every now and then.

Now though, the purpose has changed because they are pumped beyond imagination so I don't use them at all.

If it would be hyped again then its possible but if not then those who bought on the peak would definitely be holding on indefinite days which cant really be assured if it would reach out again on that price point.
Its really hard to determine because whenever a coin being hyped and reach out peak prices and dumped then you wouldnt ever know on when it would recover and this is how unpredictable the market is.
Sorry for those who got caught on the dumped and leaving out on waiting for some time and for those who do panic sell because they are seeing its already dumping then sorry for your loss.

That is the highest price of Dogecoin that we have already seen because the last high price a few years ago was not too high as the last. Dogecoin was getting help from Elon's tweet to make the price lift so high and give a big profit to people who have a lot of Dogecoin. But Dogecoin can help you to save the fee and having a fast confirmation for the transaction. Perhaps, that is the usage of Dogecoin so far. But I will not have a problem if Dogecoin will be a pump and dump coin to give us more opportunities to use Dogecoin to make a profit.

but dogecoin has a pretty strong market right now. although there is a decline, you can see for yourself that it is not a big dump. everything happens gradually. and it shows that the dogecoin community and market are indeed strong.
actually, this was built before Elon did the hype. and the momentum built after Elon said all that on social media. I hope, Dogecoin can regain its position and become a better asset, not seen as a meme coin marketed by many influencers.

Exactly and I think even the doge owners would have given up any hope on the coin but suddenly a rich guy starts shilling and people hate/love dogecoins while the coin was meant to be a meme and it's not doge's fault if a rich guy is pumping it. It's a decentralized market and anyone can pump any coin if they have the capital for it or have the influence like Elon has.

It's cheap and fast like Tron for a long time it has a huge market and people considered it as a meme coin, but now it becomes a prominent coin this year because of Elon Musk support, the first coin that Elon pour out his support, because of this we now have a lot of meme coin, Doge is a classic example of a coin that support for one big whale can make a difference.

After all the pumping, I don't think it has become a prominent coin because even now people don't fancy buying dogecoins other than just to sell them for a higher price.

A prominent coin is like bitcoin where people invest and have faith for years while with dogecoin investment, you don't know if next morning you will have even 50% value or not.

I think there are a lot of great opportunities to pump in Shiba Market. This project is in a very good position in the crypto market and traders are coming that its price will go up a lot although the price of dogecoin has increased it has started to decrease.

Off-forum it was claimed by some people to be used as a tipping coin in Reddit.
I am not sure why would such "tip" happen there, because mostly it is now either Award or karma system there.
Other than that, I can't think of any practical uses it can do anyway.

I don't know what to say because I realize that there are still a lot of people who have great faith in Doge coin, although not denying its growth over time, but what we see from it is hype pure and soon the doge coin bubble will burst. But it's still happier to profit from it wisely anyway, and my experience with Doge coin is gratifying.

Despite the large number of published tweets by Elon Musk about Doge, they do not have the same power as they had before. An increase in the price by 10-15 percent can not be compared with the spring pumps, when the price of the coin increased by 200-300% in one day.

Perhaps Elon's influence has cooled down, as his recent twitter lines have not brought much great things to doge coin.
I am also a non-supporter of this coin, if only thinking about profit and creating a negative then I think it deserves to be cursed.
