Small correction, Parivision are not in last chance qualifier. They went directly to upper bracket playoffs. But yeah, LGD largely overperformed. Cool group stage tho. I won't be surprised to see them bomb out of the tournament with 2 straight losses.

This map 1 against Yandex, is exactly what i'm talking about. Typical Kaffs draft masterclass. If i had to crown the most retarded draft i've seen this year, this would probably it. My god.

Give 100%. 110% is impossible. Only idiots recommend that.

Windranger in BLAST Slam felt like a straight-up throw pick in some drafts.

It didn’t fit the game plan at all, and it gave the same vibe as old patches where certain picks basically meant the draft was already lost before the game even started.

Torontotokyo kicked from OG. What a surprise Roll Eyes
Got kicked twice first with Aurora and now with OG. I guess OG understood that nikko is better than torontotokyo although it can't be removed that he's a tee-eye winner.

Poor drafting on map 1, I bet on LGD for the series winner and it turns out that I lost it. LGD players are good but even with kaffs drafting that bad, they're able to make it or we don't know if the org or the players themselves will start to think of having a replacement for him.

It's more like they need another offlaner who could fit their playstyle, but at this time of the season, it's looking rough when every good offlaner is already on a team.

I guess it's because her kit doesn't need many items to join fights, but it's interesting that teams still keep picking her despite the bad win rate.

Wind pos1 isn't that bad. I would argue there are way worse heroes teams keep insisting on like Alchemist and Tiny, for example. Way too overvalued.

Got kicked twice first with Aurora and now with OG. I guess OG understood that nikko is better than torontotokyo although it can't be removed that he's a tee-eye winner.

You probably mean this season only. Because he was also kicked from Betboom back when he played pos5, and from Team Spirit. I don't think Nikko is going back to OG. Not after what skem and 343 said. I really have no clue who will be their next offlaner. They can't poach an offlaner from a rival team either, since rosters are locked for TI quals. So, either a player from another region or a lower tier player with potential.

Poor drafting on map 1, I bet on LGD for the series winner and it turns out that I lost it. LGD players are good but even with kaffs drafting that bad, they're able to make it or we don't know if the org or the players themselves will start to think of having a replacement for him.

LGD players are good... well, they are okay but if you really compare to the rest of the remaining teams, individually, one by one, are they really that good? Like i said, they are overperforming, and seems the only team really taking this tournament seriously 100%. This team won't make top8 at either EWC or TI(If they can even qualify). I called for them to bomb out of the playoffs with 2 straight losses after being top of the groups. One loss is already done, now it's against Liquid. To be honest, i expect them to beat liquid at least. Liquid are straight trash right now. But there's also the possibility that Nisha decides he wants to singlehandedly dumpster LGD. We will see.

Seems Yakult Brother lost their guaranteed slot for TI qualifiers, due to changing the entire roster. Should be easy open qualifiers for them anyway. Kaka is back to pro Dota it seems. I would really love to see Somnus give it one more go. I hope he makes a stack for TI quals.

Topson also said he will be competing in TI quals. Arteezy, Topson, Qojqva, Pablo, Ceb. It would be cool to see them challenge Gamerlegion in NA quals. Most likely they will just get dumpstered in EU quals.

Give 100%. 110% is impossible. Only idiots recommend that.

Damn, good post as I missed the final stages yesterday. Didn't know there was the Heroic upset and GamerLegion blanking of BiG.
Was just getting ready to watch Tyloo vs Lynn Vision but just when I checked the scores it was over already. Another 2:0 match in early stage games. The teams want to conserve their energy for these next stage matches.
We still have two more to go when NRG faces off against BiG and Team Liquid who should dispense of FlyQuest easily.
But since they lost so badly yesterday to Heroic who knows. There might be another upset.

This is one weird of stacks. I guess Topson will be playing pos 4 since Qojqva is pos 2 or they could literally swap position but man I've never seen Qojqva play anything other than pos 1,2 and 3 when he streams

They are gonna have better on either NA or SA for sure or probably SEA since Topson already on SEA but the rest of the teams would need to travel further. The sweet spot would be NA if they are going to have solid chances. I hope they ended up making it to TI

Nope, nikko won't be back anymore as it's raven that they have taken as their offlaner. I think if it's communication wise, they did good on that and there's no more reservation if they are to blame each other or what not as long as they can understand each other and they're free to express what they want to say.

As for their EWC qualifier, LGD made it and with their stint right now in the Blast Slam they were able to beat 2-0 Team Liquid. But if it's Parivision, I think it will be a different story.

ikr but they still need to travel to that specific region and play from there to have lower ping unless of course they want to play for fun, they could do it anywhere I guess

And their new offlaner is another filipino guy, raven who also beat OG on the historic TI6.

Classic move

23savage said this before, Filipino tend to favour their own countryman over the others so Im not really surprised if they choose another fellow from their own country. Aside from that, they needed quick fix on their team for TI qualifiers so I guess this just make sense

I also like somnus just one more try, he's one of the strongest mid and I think that he can still go along with other good mid laners. As for the former OG, I agree that the easiest region is going to be NA for them.

He was my favorite player during the LGD days.

But he is almost 32 now. it is not easy to keep up with younger mids all the time.

ikr but they still need to travel to that specific region and play from there to have lower ping unless of course they want to play for fun, they could do it anywhere I guess

Funny part is:
Everyone keeps saying "just go NA"

Then a few more teams think the same thing and suddenly it is not that easy anymore.

Pakistan team 4thrives just they won the last match, and it is good for them because it is the time when they need to accelerate till the end of the day. We have two days for the final and right now every team is hungry for chicken dinner to have as many points as possible. 4thrvies are playing well, showing teamwork and a total strategy mindset. On the other hand, if we look at the bottom side of the table, they should not be demotivated. They are still able to make a comeback, but they need to make it now. There is no time to waste, targeting or pointing to S2G, the name from Turkey.

Intel Extreme Masters stage 2 in Cologne have begun seeing G2 beating M80 and FUT getting by B8 in a close match.
Right now we have Team Spirit vs Betboom and two teams from Brazil Legacy going against MiBR.

Seems that Spirit's coach is not in attendance for this match so BB might have a slight advantage.

Welp, Spirit without their coach is still on another level and rolled BB with ease. It feels like they'll cruise through Stage 2 and finish 3-0 because they're too good to be here.

Then a few more teams think the same thing and suddenly it is not that easy anymore.
Other teams have also been making attempts in the weaker regions, but it's not a toss-up, unlike before because each region always has that one gatekeeper or final boss who'll outclass every team.
