He'll return to playing, but probably not anytime soon, not before he's fully enjoying his time.
I also assume he'll go back at some point if there's a good opportunity for him. On the other hand, the post-TI roster shuffle is getting interesting with Tundra already announcing two of their players (Saksa and Crystallis) going inactive, and at the same time, there's a rumor about Pure and Tofu going to Tundra. There's also a rumor about Team Falcons' players taking a break, and I wonder who'll be their substitute for the time being.

Seems that professional DOTA players careers are very much different than those of CounterStrike. The lifecycle of those who have made a profession out of playing CS last atleast a decade playing then they either move on being a coach or start a desired career from their chosen educational background. I am not certain but is the DOTA2 sect of Team Falcons funded just like their CounterStrike team by Saudi investors?

From my perspective, it's not that different, but in Dota I guess winning a good chunk of the TI prize pool makes it easier for players to step down without hesitation, unlike in CS, where the prizepool isn't top-heavy. Also, it's barely worth playing in the lower scenes of Dota now that the tier two scene barely exists after the removal of the DPC. I am not certain but is the DOTA2 sect of Team Falcons funded just like their CounterStrike team by Saudi investors?
That's probably the case because they're able to bring in solid players like skiter, Cr1t, and even their coach Aui_2000, who have a lot of experience in the bigger stages.

Very rarely we have 2 good CS LANs on at same time This weekend has playoffs for starseries LAN and fissure LAN
In starseries there is Navi vs NIP today for spot in tomorrows finals where as fissure has more stacked teams mongolz vs liquid and falcons vs furia for tomorrow finals
Valorant champions is happening as well with group matches this weekend, all in all a great weekend for esports 😅

It's so out of place to see NaVi in that tournament, but it's a good opportunity for them to recover their form after losing too many games recently. For the FPG2, i'm hoping we get the MongolZ and Team Falcons in the final since I think the MongolZ is the only team capable of stopping Team Falcons tomorrow. Valorant champions is happening as well with group matches this weekend, all in all a great weekend for esports 😅
There's also the LoL playoffs resuming earlier with HLE sweeping KT in the LCK region to secure a spot in the grand final, while in the LPL, TES managed to set up a rematch against BLG after beating AL in the lower final.

As crystallis had parted ways with the Tundra Esports, there is now a new team that he goes and that's Mouz. There are currently 2 players there, the other one is seleri, a former GG support. There are still three to go and it's exciting that this organization is going to have a come back in dota 2. It's been a while since we've seen them participate tournaments with a solid line up, they've participated on 2024-2025 but they didn't get the blend they need.

Wow! Would have missed these two tournaments for CS2 because nobody was discussing about them in here. Going to bet on some in the Fissure now, So thanks for that rohang! For the FPG2, i'm hoping we get the MongolZ and Team Falcons in the final since I think the MongolZ is the only team capable of stopping Team Falcons tomorrow. Looking forward to see how Mongolz will come back after that complete reckoning they had in the grand finals around a month ago. So it will be good to see how they handle themselves now in this new tournament. Sounds like they are in the play-offs at this time so they must of adjusted from that major loss and have bounced back nicely. @passwordnow Glad to hear that MOUZ are back in DOTA2 and it sounds like they are having a successful time in reforming their team with those former Gaimin Gladiator players.

It'll be Furia and the MongolZ for the finals, and i'm glad Team Falcons didn't go through because it was disgusting how they're relying on the crowd for information during their series against Furia. I just saw the announcement for their whole roster, and it's mostly the former Secret players (Crystallis, Midone, Boom, yamich) with Seleri. I don't know how far they'll go, but I think their firepower should be enough to qualify in one of the bigger tournaments.

Big LAN finals for 2 CS tournaments today - starseries and Fissure Navi already won starseries beating NIP 2-0 In fissure there is mongolz vs furia, currently 1-1 with very close first two maps Currently on nuke third map furia is up 7-2, if they win it will be a big trophy for them and fallen after many many years And a disappointing loss for mongolz just after they reached #1 in valve rankings

Me too, I'm happy that they've announced their roster this early and hopefully they'll commit until the next TI and try to get into it. There are still three to go and it's exciting that this organization is going to have a come back in dota 2. It's been a while since we've seen them participate tournaments with a solid line up, they've participated on 2024-2025 but they didn't get the blend they need.

Let's see if he's still the great midone that we used to watch during his Team Secret days. He's a strong mid back then but we'll see how it will go for him now with these teammates. Crystallis has went far with good teammates, he's also a good player at least IMO but there are better carries than him and we know of that.

Look at the video for a very bad case: https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/1nm3p7u/the_crowd_cheating_everyone_is_talking_about/The player wriggles the cross hair very badly so the crowd can make noise. And the headset is not enough to block everything. If the crowd is quiet and suddenly they start screaming when you move your crosshair, you can know they are giving you the information.

Remember this as a major issue with those Brazilian teams being caught cheating and getting banned eventually. But how did Team Falcons exactly rely on the crowd in this instance? Didn't they have headsets on why playing these matches in this tournament?
Look at the video for a very bad case: https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/1nm3p7u/the_crowd_cheating_everyone_is_talking_about/The player wriggles the cross hair very badly so the crowd can make noise. And the headset is not enough to block everything. If the crowd is quiet and suddenly they start screaming when you move your crosshair, you can know they are giving you the information. That is a clear cut case of cheating. So will the player be facing any actions toward what he was attempting to do? This might force the organizers of the next tournament to not have crowds allowed during game play. Think the previous team from Brazil all got banned from playing CS for several years on the professional circuit. Big LAN finals for 2 CS tournaments today - starseries and Fissure Navi already won starseries beating NIP 2-0
In fissure there is mongolz vs furia, currently 1-1 with very close first two maps
Currently on nuke third map furia is up 7-2, if they win it will be a big trophy for them and fallen after many many years And a disappointing loss for mongolz just after they reached #1 in valve rankings
Navi were heavy favorites against NIP so no surprise there for their StarSeries final result. Furia did indeed win their Fissure Playground 2 finals with Molodoy getting the MVP of the tournament: https://www.hltv.org/news/42741/molodoy-takes-fissure-playground-2-mvp

Which brazilian team got banned for many years? I don't know about this. I think nothing happened with Team Falcons and I don't remember any team getting banned for doing something like this. Valve knows what happened because they turned off the x ray on the arena but they should at least fine the players so they understand that this is cheating and very bad one

I also can't recall anyone or a whole team getting banned because of this issue, but i've heard this was an issue a long time ago and only got brought up again after Team Falcons did it. And a disappointing loss for mongolz just after they reached #1 in valve rankings I also thought they're going to lose after dropping their map pick Overpass, but they immediately flipped like a switch into Dust 2 to close out the series. On the side of League, the LPL wrapped up the Split 3 playoffs with BLG winning 3-2 against TES, while in the LCK, Gen.G also needed a fifth map to take care of T1 to set a rematch against KT Rolster on Saturday.

Believe that it was Forsaken who I must of thought was Brazilian but then remembered there was a coach that were signaling his players from seeing where the other team's players were on the map. Maybe he was part of that team from Brazil. It was so many years ago so the exact specifics are vague. While searching out the information came across this video of pro-cs players caught: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yi9FraAfkRg

Its different when the pro player just wriggles the cross hair to make the crowd say where the enemy is. In this case I don't think anyone got banned, only for matchfixing and cheating with software which is the worst offense you can do when playing esports.

The player to the left I think is Forsaken from that splash screen of the video I highlighted from youtube above. According to this reddit post he was banned for 5 years it was from a year ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/1fkcr5o/today_is_the_end_of_forsakens_5_year_bn_on_valveHeard there is alot of matchfixing in dota2 especially in asia professional tournaments. But then again, I am not so much into watching that region of dota gameplay so not too certain of those who say it is happening.

No, this has certainly happened before as well, Just because its Falcons who alot of people hate - it has become this large much advertised I think next LAN organisers are simply gonna take precautions to prevent this - like disabling xray for LIVE audience and/or making more sound efficient booths At the very max players may get a fine from their organisation
