I'm following the Brazilian teams MIBR and PAIN. Both won their first maps and are currently heading into their second map. It looks like it will be a close match, at least that's what I expect. But I'm confident both will advance. I'm also looking forward to Stage 3 and seeing how Vitality performs in this initial phase.

The other Brazilian team in this major is playing one of the last remaining Chinese teams right now.
Tyloo is slowing coming back into this one against Legacy and it is 8-6 on the first map.
The odds were in favor of Legacy @1.26x but Tyloo are looking sharp from the switch to their T-side.
The next match-up will have BiG against the ever dangerous B8 in this tournament.

Unfortunately, Pain lost, just like they had won 2-0 previously. They managed to fight back in the second map, but were very bad in the first.

MIBR played even better, but unfortunately it was a 2-1 loss. And Legacy started well in the first map and is winning in the second. I hope we have more teams than just Furia, as always.

Legacy easily beat Tyloo, which was expected. Pain also beat Astralis. It was Mibr who were the only ones eliminated.
Anyway, at least there are still two Brazilian teams. I almost forgot Furia. BIG won the first map on Ancient. The second map was Overpass.
Although BIG chose the map, B8 won the pistol round. Maybe it will go to a decider. There isn't a significant difference between the two teams. B8 isn't just a team that wins its own maps; it's also a team that can win its opponents' maps.

Legacy didn’t really struggle against TYLOO. Unfortunately, this defeat means TYLOO’s chances of qualifying for the Major are now gone. That said, it’s fair to say they’ve done well to get this far. Legacy were a truly formidable opponent, and perhaps their chances of winning would have been higher had they faced a different team. Apart from n1ssim, the rest of the Legacy squad put in a fine performance.

Nigma Galaxy just announced No!ob and rincyq were kicked and Sumail and lorenof are the replacements. Sumail will be playing carry. Kinda weird move 2 weeks before quals, but i can see why. Probably they didn't believe they could qualify with that roster. I have my doubts this roster is that much of an improvement, but we will see.

This is so weird considering that both of those players were the reason they were doing kinda OK recently, they even made it to EWC although the MESWA qualifiers consisted of pretty lame teams there. Something probably happened behind the scene, I wish I know what it was. Its kinda intriguing


Anyways we got the retirement home stacks playing right now. All 5 of them are streaming, currently 0-1 down against L1GA team



Personally I think they have potential to get to the closed qualifiers but to qualify to TI, that would be another story. Qojqva is not really suited to play pos 3 imo

For me, it's because of the overwhelming amount of tournaments, but TI still remains up there. It's one of the better tournaments to bet on because everyone takes it seriously, and you'll have teams that are likely to overperform.

For me it is also the game itself. A few years ago I felt much more confident when I liked a draft.

Now with the bigger map and how the game plays out, a lot of matches feel like a coin flip.

I believe all Stage 3 matches will be best-of-three. The first two matches we’ll be watching will be Parivision vs 9z and Mongolz vs BetBoom. I think it’s difficult to predict who will win the Parivision-9z match. If Jame and his team have had a good preparation period, they will certainly win, but 9z can also be seen as a team in good form at the moment. I don’t think Mongolz will make any mistakes and they will take the win in the first match.

Haven't seen Mongolz play this entire tournament but if their form is just as they were the last time I watched one of their matches then they will struggle against a good BB team.
As for Parivision, I think they will grab the victory against 9z just as you had said, Jame is their main player and they all believe in his leadership.

I want to see how Legacy will handle stage 3, because in theory they are much tougher opponents. And that's why, as I mentioned here, I want to see how Vitality will start the matches, because that will determine whether they win this one or not. If they do well, I'll bet on them to be the champion right away.

There is absolutely no way this team makes it to closed qualifiers. 0% chance. Won't happen. Yesterday, it was made crystal clear the gap in skill between them and a tier 2 team. They cannot beat anyone. Sad, i would have loved for them to not be so washed up.

I was watching all most of their game yesterday and one thing I can tell is that they need better pos 3. Topson need to tone down a little bit, sometimes he gets too agressive which cost the team as well. He really need to differentiate a proper tournament game and a pub game

I think the rest were pretty mid but I honestly think they got a shot on the 2nd open qualifiers. Most of the tier 2 teams are gonna make it from the 1st open quals so that leave them with all those mediocre stacks as well

I was watching all most of their game yesterday and one thing I can tell is that they need better pos 3. Topson need to tone down a little bit, sometimes he gets too agressive which cost the team as well. He really need to differentiate a proper tournament game and a pub game

I would be extremely hyped if they qualified, but, i cannot agree with you. The skill gap is way too big for them to even be competitive. They will get rolled in second qualifier as well. The problem "in my eyes" is not "only" Qojqva on pos3. It's everyone. They simply cannot compete with rank 50 and higher players anymore. They are all hovering around rank 200. On top of that, none of them have competed in tournaments  at least 2 years. No practice, no ideas, no grasp of the meta, no fundamentals, and not enough individual skill. It's a shame, but it is what it is.

In the other match, Mongolz also managed to secure a narrow victory on Dust2, the map selected by BetBoom, taking a 1-0 lead. On this map, 910 was the standout player for the team.

They failed to qualify on the open qualifier 1 and I think they'll still participate on the OQ2. While I don't see their team name on the OQ2 but in topson's live stream, it's set for an schedule so that means that they're going to participate on the 2nd round of this open qualifier. As much as we want to see them qualify, they're going to have hard time in qualifying since there are a lot of younger talents. I am not saying that they're too old but the younger ones in the region are also talented and that's why even with unknown names, they can be defeated.

From what I've seen, Furia is winning the first map. It's literally just started. But it's already making the fans optimistic; at least they're more prepared at the beginning. I was watching Vitality, and they started very well, winning the third map. Apparently, it will be a 2-1. It's interesting to see that they lost a map right at the beginning; I'll keep an eye on them, who knows, maybe this major will be theirs.

Luchov put in a legendary performance throughout the match and played a major part in his team’s victory. He finished the match with a 2.00 rating and managed to secure 70 kills. In Parivision, xiELO’s efforts were insufficient. To be honest, after Luchov’s performance, I didn’t think they stood a chance of winning. Even on the map 9z lost, Luchov was the standout player.

Unfortunately, as i said in my previous post, my prediction was correct. They couldn't even compete against a very weak stack. Like i said in my previous post, it's not even a matter of draft or one single player in particular. It's all of them. They simply just cannot compete anymore. At least not in their current forms, and judging by what i see on their streams, they don't have what it takes anymore quite frankly. They can't compete with a stack of top100 rank players. End of an era.

9z just had the better supporting cast whenever their best player is firing on all cylinders. Parivision still made it interesting in that final map, but when zweih is bottom fragging, it's just rough.

In today's next round, both of them should be expected to go 1-1 since 9z is facing Vitality while Parivision is lucky to get Monte in the 0-1 bracket.

FUT just lost to G2 and are 0-2 now in stage 3

Pretty unlucky losing 2 bo3 series in three maps, but they looks decent vs vitality and now G2 as well.

Next teams should be much weaker in 0-2 bracket and still think they should atleast make it to the 2-2 bo3 and probably goto playoffs from there

Furia played well against Mouz, despite it being a 2-1 score, Mouz managed to score 7 points on the third map. So in my view, they are a very strong team and I believe they will be a top 4 team in the championship. Meanwhile, Legacy is losing to NaVi. And I think they will lose and will face FUT.
