Can you eat friendly animals

Goat is a farm animal intended for milk and eating. If you treat him as pet then its your relationship with them but for some its for consumption.

There are some exceptions like cows which is sacred for Indians, they somehow don't eat them afaik because they make it related to their religion I think. Rabbits are also eating particularly for the hunters. It's even delicacy since meat tastes like chicken. Rabbits breed faster which I guess if not eaten, they will populate faster.

I will likely just consume their milk, use their droppings as manure, use them for clearing weed or for keeping the grasses low/trimmed as someone mentioned above.

Once we are bonded, I doubt I could ever kill or eat them without throwing up

It's just a matter of how a person would look at it. Maybe I will also throw up if its my dog.
There are still places where dogs are eaten actually. If you just listen to your older uncles' stories and how they live before some of them might have eaten their pet dogs too. Historically people eat dogs. In colder places, people do eat dogs because their meat raises body temperature.

Today people promotes pet like they are part of the family, the internet spreads the information like it's not allowed to be eaten that's why it's somehow not moral anymore. When I was in Thailand, I have eaten dog meat too just to try it out.

Just try eating a pet while it is alive, and it suddenly won't be so friendly. Then you can more easily forget the former kindness you had for it.

Friendly animals can be eaten but not all friendly animals can be eaten of dogs and cats it is not possible to eat their meat. Many people in developing countries cannot afford meat but can carry insects reduction which creates economic opportunities for those who do it in developing countries most of these people are women living in rural areas. Globally the most dangerous underground insect of all insect species that makes sense is because 40 percent of insects are insects also used to eat rabbits, yellow dinosaurs and superworms reptiles and fish.

But if it's a pet, we do not have the heart to eat it because we give them food and take care. It is like we kill ourselves by doing that. Maybe if we do not have anything to eat and we are suffering and can not survive if we do not eat, we might do that. But still, it is not good if you do that.

  Not at all friendly animals I eat and not my taste to eat an animal that is rear for me ,but I observed some of people are easily to them to eat a rear animal's that's newly seen to them that's why we heard from the news or in the Tv that they are poisoned toward on what they eat a rear animal's an also I observed that they eat also a Dog and Cat an that is Considered a  man best friend.

Trust me , things will change when time comes. You will never let your Stomach starve when there are something that you can eat.

I don't think I can imagine you established a relationship on that particular animal and you are going to eat it, I don't think I can stomach that I prefer buying goat meat if I want to eat goat meat, there's an emotional attachment between the two of you and you are heartless if you do that, let him die a natural death or let other people kill it and eat but not you.

Well, I think we could depend on them for meat when we need to rather than for pleasure. And I think it's better to use them for food when they are old, matured enough or when it's time for them to leave this world.
It's also important to end them when they are in good state. I wouldn't be surprised if benefit the meat eater health-wise to end the animal they wish to consume in good state. You don't kill them forcely, brutally, while their families watch helplessly, while they scream for help, etc

If I'm not starving and there's still food to eat, I don't think I will kill it just to eat it, I don't have the stomach it on animals where I already have affection, I will just let it live and enjoy the company, we should cherish what we love, you can eat other foods like vegetables or eggs, I don't see a reason why I have to kill it and eat, besides nothing to eat.

People who grow animal to eat them later dont catch feelings. they just go feed them and leave and spend as less time as they can so they dont get attached. At the end of the day you need to eat so even if you catch feeling you got no choise if that is most of your food/source of income

depending on the purpose of people raising goats. because almost all breeders benefit from raising livestock.
