We have another good fight this weekend between Jermell Charlo And Brian Castano for Charlo's undisputed 154 lbs.

Charlo is the favourite obviously, as he is the more power puncher between the two. at 1.41 and Castano as the underdog 2.70. But we don't have other options, I'm looking at Charlo to win by TKO around 7+ rounds. We might see a knock out in the process and then Charlo going for the kill.

The Charlo brothers are really making a name for themselves in the 154-160 division.

His identical brother, Jermall won last month if I'm not mistaken at 160 lbs and his name keeps popping up as possible for GGG or even Canelo (if he chooses to go up to 168 lbs).

charlo is clearly the favourite here. but the odds are not that too wide.
and below is the tale of the tape . even the advantages, charlo is edging castano here. height, reach, record are all in favour of charlo. so maybe, this is an easy pick here.

^^ Yeah, I think Charlo got this one, but Castano is no sleeper here. He could make this fight competitive for Charlo as he just blasted his previous opponents and knocking them out. Plus, ring rust might play here, Charlo hasn't been fighting for a while so he is obviously inactive and could be rusty in the early rounds. And Castano should take advantage of it, unless he is hit by big punch that he can't recovered. Jr. Middleweight is not the strongest division but this is the best possible fight they can make at this weight. This is the first time we will see an undisputed champion since the WBO was recognized as a major world title so it has some historical significance. Castano does not have an impressive record but Charlo has had some close fights against this level of opposition. I think it will be a close fight but Charlo will win by decision or late knockout.

As I've read about Jelmell Charlo, I'm amaze on his record and he only got 1 lose and 18 knock outs. This fight shouldn't be missed, because on this division I believed the odds is with him. Looks like we will have another good fight this coming weekend, these guys are fighting for the championship or what? to be honest, never heard of them as their weight division is not really that popular unlike the Heavyweight or the Bantamweight division where most of the popular boxers are there. Anyway, looking forward to this fight and this will be the chance to see how these guys fight at their current weight if they can still keep their power and speed, that depends on what kind of strategy they will use in the ring.

Charlo's reach can be a big factor here because Castano is much shorter compared to Charlo but that's not the case for many because we've seen Pacquiao fight against people with a height and reach advantage. But Charlo's more experienced than Castano so that can play a role in his possible win. I would go for Charlo on this one even though, it's almost a year of inactivity.

The height has a pros and cons and yes, there's a lot of boxing fight with the same situation with a different result. Charlo is my bet on this match looking at his records and experience, that almost a year of inactivity will not matter because he will go for training and that will makes him more fit again. This is not an easy match even the odds says it all, this is an exciting one.

Sometimes inactivity can take a toll to a fighter especially if they aren't doing any maintenance training which means that they will have to work double time when they are training again for a fight. I think that the height is going to be a pros in this match since Charlo has the experience.

In any case, I will vote for Charlo, I think he has all the advantage in this fight. Speed, power, experience as well. That 1.41 odd might trim down a bit as we approach like 2 days in the fight. But just like the bettors here, I wlll go with Charlo, but not with the ML, unless I'm going to put a lot of money in him to have at least a good return. Will wait for my favourite sportbookies to give us more betting options and more good odds.

Charlo has a big advantage in the reach and by using this he may catch Castano  with check hooks. I don't think  Charlo  gonna let himself get into close-range punching. So Castano needs to watch carefully and use rolling movements to avoid Charlo's distanced punches. Whether he will  manage to do this is an open question for me because Charlo acts  " like a dog with a bone" when he see underdog in the ring. I would bet for Charlo.

Seeing the odds at the moment, Charlo @1.42, Castano @2.85, this only shows that sports bookies are giving Castano a high chance of winning but that still to be seen and if you are a Charlo fan, this odd is attractive enough for you to make a bet.

I have not seen Castano fight yet so I think I will still bet for Charlo but I would be waiting for the odds on Charlo winning by Decision as this kind of market always gives me the win lol.

That's right, we will see whether they have done their work and made sure that their long inactivity isn't a cause for them to be rusty in this fight. Conditioning is important so I think that the one that got back to their fighting level by the time they are face to face is the one that's going to win this match. Charlo might have the advantage but that doesn't mean there's no win for Castano.

As for me, Charlo has a huge advantage in this match. He has more experience and achievements than Castano  but let's not underestimate Castano because sometimes, the underdog shows more during the actual match. Charlo is the hard hitter here that's why the odds are all in favour for him. The thing is that there are not yet household names that why majority of us are not familiar with him and how good the Charlo twins are, they are not next generations in the 154 to 160 lbs division.

I'm not seeing a decision here, most likely they will going to slug it out and may the best man win and that could be Charlo because of his physical advantage and his power in both hands.

I also haven't seen how Castano fight, with that said, Charlo might have all the tools though because this kid is the champion is almost all the ABC's belt and his name has been making some noise in the last couple of years. His also stepping up the competition and in the last 3 fights of his, he is taking huge leap by taking good opponents and destroying them. Might be good to look at which rounds could the fight ended in favor of him to get a good and attractive odds.

I'm looking at Charlo's inactivity though, almost 300 days of non boxing? Hmm, it might affect him here early, as he might experience what we call ring rust. We have seen fighters this year experiencing this and they have to adjust in order to win specially if they are the champions. So it could be some boring early part of the round and Castano's might steal some couple of rounds in the process. But in the end, Charlo might find his rhythm back in time to claim a UD win.

I placed a small bet on Charlo, so let's see. Hope he will not fail us. 
The advantages are on his side, so hopefully he will use those inside the ring.
The difference may be is how both boxers prepared for this fight.
