OP, I chose both to answer your question. I bet for profit, but at the same time I also want to have fun. I really have to position which is the best as the main goal between making profit and getting pleasure so that I can consider the consequences when I lose. We can't just have fun at gambling while we can't win anything because that would be very boring. It's really great that you've managed to recover from addiction, that's very uncommon. In fact, some don't even believe that it's possible, so kudos to you!
I checked "both", because, as you know, there are different types of gambling.

There are the ones that only depend on luck - slots, crash, dice, those I only play for fun, I never expect to win anything from there.
