Hello my friends! Tonight one of my L3+ fans burns out! When I woke up I replaced it with a 7500rpm one (because it was the only one I had)! The thing is, when I turned it back on, the L3 doesn't appreciate any cards! After many attempts I managed to leave the machine in the state in which the photos appear! Does anyone know what it might be? I've already tested all the cables, I've tested the board one by one, I've already cleaned the flies, mosquitoes and quotations that were inside the machine! You already washed the plates with isopropyl alcohol!

I've shared the images on reddit for you to see as I don't know how to do it here! thanks

How long did it hash before shutting down with no fans?
Cant see photo as it errors CDN error.   But you can kill hash boards with high heat.

I got the warning email around 5am! But I woke up around 9am! The L3+ was in protection mode because of a missing fan! when I turned it on there was only one sign. After several attempts, the others started to appear! I still started again today and another 30 chips appeared, but they disappeared again after an hour. Couldn't this type of error be some way of protecting the board itself because of the temperature? And if it was a burnt chip, shouldn't the "X" appear?

What did you run at?

freq 384 or lower?

freq 400 or higher?

are you usa based?

my thoughts are

like the words from an old rock and rock song.

“Nah Nah Na Na say hey goodby.”

looks like you fried it all.

but the hope would be that a proper fan and not a crazy stupid burn the controller board could help.

So detach the 7500 rpm monster over kill fan and stop taxing the controller.

find a proper fan and try again.

good luck as you will need it.

you could look in the marketplace here and see if anyone is selling L3+ gear.

hint some one is.

he is a usa based seller.

it is me.

I also am selling working L3+ boards.

and I could toss in a proper fan.

I actually run up to 575! The auto-tune chooses the best voltages for each card and then I reduce it from 575 until I leave each chip with few errors! I try never to miss 0.1%!
I tried to buy these at 7500rpm, because it's been 40 degrees and what actually spoils our machines are the temperatures and humidity, it's not what we pull for it! They always told me that!
I live in Europe and the boards around here are crazy...I bought the L3+ for 390e and people are now selling each board for 300e!
I tried using a method that results in a T15 that I have! I cleaned the board with isopropyl alcohol, then I used wd-40 electrical contact cleaner and finally I am moving the frequencies and it is recovering! In this one I already result in two of the boards! Just this third... It might just be luck, but I was left thinking it might be some software error that could lead to a hardware error! Also because in the Kernel it continues to appear "local0.err cgminer[5120]: Get [1]Temp Data Failed!"
