Although Moonbeam quickly gathered attention from enthusiasts  in recent time, I was very suprised to find almost no discussion of this long-awaited project on BitcoinTalk.

Moonbeam provides an Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform that makes it easy to build natively interoperable applications. It's also a parachain on the Polkadot network, which brings the benefits of shared security and additional integrations with other parachains on the Polkadot network. As a blockchain project, tackling cross-chain interoperability, it is  capable of bridging the gap between Etheruem and Polkadot

Moonriver (MOVR) (Moonbeam’s Sister Project) is a smart contract blockchain that supports Ethereum decentralized applications, Moonriver is intended to operate on Kusama as a parachain and provide a full EVM implementation, a Web3-compatible API and bridges that connect Moonriver to existing Ethereum networks. Moonriver also plans to implement a built-in integration for all Kusama and ERC-20 tokens and bridges to other assets like Bitcoin.

Moonriver won the auction with a total amount of 205,935 KSM bonded to its project showing great community support. Moonbeam also shows serious investors backing, with CoinFund, Coinbase, Binance Labs, ParaFi Capital, IOSG Ventures, Fenbushi Capital etc. among them.

Moonriver will be live in the following weeks, so it's not too late to take part. the project’s Crowdloan initiative is well worth keeping an eye on. For now you still have an opportunity to join the ambassador program to be one of the early participants.

I am more than sure that the next "billion-dollar" idea is #multichain! Moonbeam solves the issue by providing the launchpad for Eth-based projects to easily enter Polkadot & Kusama ecosystem. Wow! Imagine all these Eth-based tools & integrations invading the Polkadots Universe via MoonbeamNetwork and there is no need to "code code code code code" there is no need to change the code architecture. Can you imagine? Simply deploy with little effort!

PureStake, the company behind the Moonbeam and Moonriver networks, two parachain candidates for Polkadot and Kusama, respectively, announced a successful $ 6M raise. The funding round was led by CoinFund and included members such as Binance Labs, ParaFi, Coinbase Ventures, Fenbushi Capital, IOSG Ventures + Hypersphere Ventures, Hashkey, Arrington XRP, A195, KR1, D1 Ventures, Mechanism Capital, Divergence Ventures and Signum Capital. A bridge allows two economically sovereign and technologically different chains to communicate with each other. They can range from centralized and trusted, to decentralized and trust minimized. One of the currently available solutions is ChainBridge, a modular multi-directional blockchain bridge built by ChainSafe. A ChainBridge implementation is now available in Moonbeam, which connects our Moonbase Alpha TestNet and Ethereum’s Kovan/Rinkeby TestNets. A large portion of the tokens are concentrated in the hands of the community. This will give a fair price for everyone at the start. The project is one of the largest on Polkadot and will be supported by everyone in the Polkadot ecosystem.  Moonbeam provides service for the Polkadot network which does not natively include smart contracts.

The project impressed me from the very beginning. Starting from the site, for example, https://moonbeam.network/
You see well-chosen name, style, design, logo, colors. The site is very user-friendly and very beautiful and stylish.
My first thought was "hmm the beginning is promising, lets read documentation... wait.. wow.. sounds cool.. im IN!"

Moonbeam already has very friendly and open community, administrators and project management. Moonrivier  recently won a slot as a parachain in Kusama, which is some kind of testnet for Polkadot. Before work in Polkadot, each project should win slot in Kusama by auction voting.
I was not surprised that the project was ahead of all competitors and eventually took the 2nd slot, losing only to such a giant as Acala Network.

There is not much time left before Moonriver enters in late stages  in working on Kusama. So, you have time to join. What you should do is make a video, tell about yourself, your skills and become part of the team. Maybe you are tech-savvy and can install a node, or maybe you speak multiple languages ​​perfectly and can help the different foregihn communities to communicate with each other. You are quite right indeed - Moonbeam definitely deserves way more publicity on this forum than it gets.

I have been following it for a while now and what really amazes me is the community and the excitement of everyone involved in the project. Moonbeam has got hundreds (might actually be around a thousand!) ambassadors who are passionately promoting Moonbeam network. Moonbeam for me is the very first project in which I was really interested, my first node was installed right here, thanks to this I learned a little about drawing, since I really wanted to do something usually for this project. Oh my, I was just passing by, accidentally wandered into this forum and saw you all discussing my favorite project Moonbeam, so I immediately wanted to write about how wonderful it is. If I were a parachain, then only Moonriver. It's a pity that I have nothing to transfer from ethereum to polkadot, cuz I'm literally looking for an excuse to use this beautiful innovative project with their convenient toolkit to do everything with zero effort.
