How did you first hear about Bitcoin?

I got to know bitcoin from a friend, I was very interested when it was explained about bitcoin and I opened the internet to find out the truth of what my friend said, after I studied more deeply then I concluded that I could get bitcoin and until now the enthusiasm has not disappeared I will continue collect bitcoins because in the future I believe bitcoin will be the number one asset in the world.

It's the same with me, I found out about bitcoin from my friend and there was already a group for people playing bitcoin to gather. From there, I became more and more interested in bitcoin itself, which was interesting and the group of friends who were very friendly to help provide information as a beginner like me. And as a result, until now I have focused on working to get bitcoin, one of which is from the airdrop or from the trades that I run.

the first time I heard bitcoin from a friend, and he showed his wallet which was worth 2 btc at that time the btc value was still at 5k $ and he said get it for free . there I started looking for facts whether what he said is true, can get it for free it turns out to be true BTC what he got was the result of exchanging his bounty rewards

I heard about it from a friend who was interested. At the same time I read some things about the bitcoin bubble pop, as it was 2015, not long after the crash and actually near the bottom.
Fun fact is that the media love to talk about how bad the asset really is when it's at or near the bottom. They rarely bash it on the way up or at the top.

I googled some things, begun to watch youtube videos, bought some altcoins because at first I thought that altcoins and bitcoin are pretty much the same thing just priced differently. I had to spend a lot of time and lose some money to learn what I know now, but I'm happy with what I know and that it did not cost me more.

How did you first hear about Bitcoin?

I was already doing things that are related to bitcoin like PTC and other stuff when I heard about it last 2015, back then we don't have huge popularity like we have today. Everything has been changed and the first day I invested was the best day of my life. I'm sure there are lots of people right here who have taken the opportunity as soon as they see the huge list of choices of how you can earn with bitcoins. If you can see my profile, I never stop since I landed in this community though things have not been good lately, I'm still here seizing some opportunities.

Shouldnt really mind of about necropost since there are lots of threads had been created having on the same topic title or discussion.Bumping a 6-7 year old thread would be a good idea.
It would be good if we do able to see present reactions and  comments which some new people would really able to answer off.
Answering the question  on how did i first  hear out about bitcoin,it was five years ago when i  dont  have job and nonstop seeking of it until i do set out my foot here on this
cryptospace where i did found this forum and learnt up everything that i should learn and  aware into those earning opportunities.

Well, I heard this when someone telling me about bitcoin, it was in the year 2017 --bitcoin at that time gaining popularity because there is a rumor that it will pump too much, and a month later, bitcoin created a new ATH but I am still trying to understand what is bitcoin --due to curiosity and wanted to learn about bitcoin and accidentally found this forum and try to look someone that could I ask and how is the story behind the bitcoin, fortunately, I am in the right path and I have learned a lot. First time I heard btc also from my friend. He told me that he was crazy about btc, and it was true that he got a lot of results. At that time I was also interested and found out about crypto. the first time i heard about bitcoin was 5 years ago, i was talking to my uncle and somehow he ended up telling about bitcoin, he told that they use it sell and buy drugs and weapons, and it sounded really interesting to me, of course not the drugs and weapons part, so i started searching about it and the first thing i did was faucets since it was the first thing that comes up when you google how to get bitcoin for free, and that's how it all started, my uncle knew about it but i don't know if he did anything with that info tho, i never asked.

I usually don't believe in fantasy, I need concrete evidence for something I just know or hear.

When I first got to know Bitcoin, I often read on Google, I read and researched, what makes Bitcoin attractive to many people, then I have a friend who works in one of the government fiat currency exchanges, he told me about Bitcoin.
Long story short, my friend showed me the results of withdrawing Bitcoin to me, oh my god, it turned out to be real fiat money, at the end of the story I learned and got to know several exchanges and made transactions, finally like now.

In the second month, my original boss called me and asked me if I wanted to speculate some coins, which might lead to freedom of wealth. The first time I heard about BTC was that my cousin brother was typing captcha for mrai and exchanged it for BTC to sell for money. I didn't believe it, but I tried to make money online, try to do as it said or not and in the end, as it said, I got a pretty large amount of money from doing it online.
