Got whitelisted today.
Thanks LoyceV!I don't have anything super substantial to post as a new thread in terms of a self-intro to the forum. So I'll just give my little intro here and be on my way.
I'm obsessed with bitcoin ever since I learned about it. More specifically, physical bitcoin collectibles. I have aspirations to start my own buisness of making and vending physical bitcoin collectibles one day. I know this forum is full of history and I'm super excited to participate and contribute within this legendary community as best I can.
For now, I'm more interested in getting to know the forum a little more intimately, and the community getting to know more about me over time. I'm in no rush to solicit buisness quite yet. Just happy to go from long-time guest browser to active user! While my all-time favorite aspect of bitcoin is collectibles, I am likely to be an active poster on a variety of boards. I also hold interests of:
-General discussion of bitcoin
-Bitcoin history
-Politics/Current events and how bitcoin intertwines with them
-Price speculation and trading discussion
-Online gambling with cryptocurrencey
-Discussion about currency and it's many forms throughout history
-Privacy/Security practices and how they evolve/change over time
-The bitcointalk.org forum itself
-Planning for the future (lol)
Finally, my username is (BTC). To me, the parentheticals on each side of "BTC" looks like the text-form of a time capsule with bitcoin inside it. Classic time capsules usually come in the form of 3D metal cylinders with hemispherical ends/"spherocylinders". I feel that most physical bitcoin collectibles can be, and are commonly viewed as, time capsules waiting to be cracked open and utilized long into the future. Funnily enough, "bitcoin time capsule(s)" as an acronym is "BTC". There are even open-source tools that people have created to time-lock funds.
