The damage to his reputation is done, quite honestly unless he can sign an address containing all his coins I am not going to believe he is holding any coins because his actions do not make sense otherwise, he sold that 10% to see if he could do it without crashing the market, once he knew this was the case he sold his stash and then bought again after he created a lot of FUD and the price went down, so I do not real care if Tesla is accepting bitcoin or not, he manipulated the market and made it crash so many people will make an effort to avoid his products in the future.

He did not opposed btc completely and that is the shitest thing he does, because every word he delivers towards bitcoin is a clear strategy of cleaning his name so if at some point he detract the statements he will comes clean again because of the slight different meanings.

Why do most people think that Tesla accepting bitcoin will make bitcoin go up? I agree that his power his tremendous but at the same time the more he uses his power the more people will realize that he is manipulating the market, and obviously people that have a lot of experience in this market are not going to fall for his tricks, but there are so many newbies brought by the bull run that we experimented that they think they can earn money by following him, not understanding that Elon is just using them and will discard them as soon as he can make even more money on this market at their expense.

And bitcoin enthusiast are not that dumb, we have seen what Elon Musk is up to so now we stay away from his tweets as we grew tired of his antics specially when he suddenly made a u-turn against BTC. So we really can't attributed the current rise of the price to him. Investors suddenly pour their money in the last 10 days resulting to a massive increased in the price. And even after his meeting with Jack Dorsey, we didn't see enough push. So lets forget about him for a second and look in the future, adoption will be coming in the next 2-5 years.

It is true that there is a lot people that are getting sick of him because they can see very clearly that he doesn't really care about this market, he only cares about himself and what he can get out of this market and while that by itself is not wrong because most traders are going to have that very same mentality, at the same time he is not above about using every single resource he has available and exploit it and this means that he's using newbies all over the market in order to increase the benefits for himself.

If Elon Musk or Tesla were the only reason to buy now or any other time it would be false.     If the market rises just for this reason its actually going to end being a sell because all that positive is just theoretical in the future and its not enough to support the price.   What Tesla actually would represent is the whole idea that any business could employ BTC in their balance sheet to some use, if thats true its a big deal and change for something that started off in someones garage as a project but so did Google and alot of other commonly used products.   I think the story for BTC is alot less managed, more volatile and prone to upset part of which is Musk and his memes being completely unreliable; I wont be surprised when he scales out at some price some of the position because it was more risk to have then he realized and he felt the pressure.
   I'm a bit cynical but I'd call it realism, he says he will use it and the environmental thing is mitigated enough and when price rises he sells enough that his balance sheet is less effected.   That would just be a company action to expect imo.

it seems that lately the market has become very sensitive, anything is why people buy or sell, I miss the times when the news did not have much impact on price, since paypal made the announcement that it would be accepting bitcoin this market started to react It's fast to any news so much and that elon musk entered the scene and managed to manipulate the market when he wanted, now came false news from amazon where it made the price increase a lot. we are in pump and dump times

Valid or not, it doesn't matter. Whatever he said, not to support crypto community. Don't be too happy even he said sweet words or something promising for crypto future. I am not sure if he did it all for crypto existence, but he just tries to take advantage of crypto. He can change his mind any time, don't believe if he said to re-accept Bitcoin.

I will never buy any Tesla or Elon products in my life.

It is not a must to buy Tesla and Elon's products. I also never dream to buy them, not really necessary for me. There are a lot of car brands offering cheaper prices and using non-electric power. In my country, electric cars cannot be used since there are no public places to charge for car electric power. Spending money on Tesla will be a stupid decision.

Don't get me wrong I am not against the fact that Elon Musk is doing something that usually helps us, of course there are times when he hurt us as well but that is a bit more rare, however the fact that he is leading in most cases is not really a good thing neither for any of us, it is really a horrible situation that caused us to end up with a horrible drop when we let him do whatever he wants.

I also wouldn't want someone as crazy as him taking the charge neither, if the whole world sees bitcoin and crypto as something "yeah that Elon musk thing?" then I would be very upset about it since dude is a very spoiled brat that took whatever he wanted thanks to his daddies money, meanwhile most people I know in crypto are people who worked really hard to get where they are today.

I need a new car. I had hoped to wait for the cybertruck but my dodge might not survive that long. I’d probably sell it and buy a low end model 3 if they accepted Bitcoin. Since they don’t, maybe I’ll look around for some fun electric motorcycle or something to bridge my time gap. Would love to toss a coin to my Elon for a 3 though.
