 I want to share with you a way how I look for promising projects and coins. I just open the table top-100 on coinmarketcap and check what coins are on lows now. Then I investigate the idea of this coin, if it carries any real value, then I look through docs, social media. And if I am satisfied with the quality of this currency I also check the trading volume and in what exchanges I can trade it.

There is no hard and fast rule to investing in Cryptocurrency, you just need to follow the rule and the concept that have made bitcoin very successful.  

Most of altcoins were totally centralized because they were building in the a tokenization platform. The altcoin totally depends on this platform. The concept that used by bitcoin already used by so many coins in the past but the reality said that if those old coins were die. It caused by the bitcoin was the first crypto and this can 't be followed by the coins after bitcoin.
I think that you must know that if it's not any concept that used by the successful coins will always work

Who will say they don't miss the chances of getting coins at discount, it remains one of my greatest mistakes every since I joined Cryptocurrency because I never believed the whole market would revived back so fast and since I even sold at lost made it even more painful and unforgettable event since I joined this space.
It's never too late though, if you have missed the opportunity, one can still make it right with the new coins especially those that are created by existing teams. For example, Polkadot was created by one of  previous team in Ethereum.

Answering the topic - no, I didn't miss the bull runs that took place in 2020 and 2021. Figuratively speaking, I was sitting in a big flying rocket with other Bitcoin (and Ethereum) holders. I can say that I am already used to cryptocurrencies in my wallets. They are an integral part of my finances and are likely to grow in the long term, which is why I am almost serene, owning the top-rated coins I invested in. Nevertheless, I want to trade and make profit again in the future.

It's always without fail advisable to everyone, they must make multiple entry points into the trading portfolio. What I mean is, you must keep buying the BTC whenever it keeps falling down from its most ATH. This can create a proper base and an average Break Even Point getting adjusted to safe zone each time you do so.

There can't never be the next Bitcoin and we have to understand that if we want to benefit massively form the industry, we have to understand that without bitcoin, this market won't have come into reality. Bitcoin has every factor supporting it to be dominating for a very long time. No cryptocurrency can out shine Bitcoin, they all need it to be worth something.

That been said, if you're investing, invest because you want to make profit and not to replace Bitcoin. As a cryptocurency investor you should always value Bitcoin and make sure you own some. We can only have one in the whole world while altcoins will always be widely available for purchase. If you miss this particular coin, no need to worry as others opportunity will present itself in due time, just keep accumulating fiat so when the opportunity comes this time, you won't miss it.

People claim that ETH is the next Bitcoin just because it is 1 rank below of Bitcoin, but they don't know that both function differently.

I was gone for 6 months in 2020/2021 and I have been missed so much stuff during my inactivity. UNIDROP airdrop, Dogecoin awoken, cryptocurrency season and many more. If I had not lazy in past few months then I would have gotten a chance to actually make a profit. I have been missing lot of important news, but yea just move on and I'm trying to be better at looking to myself and outside.

You are right that choosing a valuable currency is very important. Try checking the coin price chart today on Coinmarketcap, from the 1st to the 20th list, almost all of them experienced an increase in the graph for 7 days.
Therefore, I still believe that good opportunities still exist in the future.

I agree that we should definitely not consider the current situation as "missed the chance", sure you may have missed the x100000+ chances, bitcoin at 30 cents to 30k is insane and if you invested just few hundred back in the day you would have millions of dollars very easily.

However it is not missed, you can still make a lot of money in crypto world if you only know what you are doing, for example a friend of mine got into something during February, and by April he turned his 20k into 1.6 million dollars, it was just a pure hype of course if he kept his money in there he would have about 10k by now, so it was a hype that went very high and then went very low, but he got out around the perfect time, he could have made 2.4 million instead if he got out at peak but still 1.6 million out of 20k is amazing. Those chances are still out there, you could make that in the future with the next bull run.

What you said is correct. I don't want alternatives to replace Bitcoin. Ten years ago, no one knew that the Bitcoin trend was so magical. Bitcoin is already unique, I understand what you mean by looking for the next altcoin with a strong upside potential.  I'm always ready to find it, too.  Lol, There are many coins that have very strong value expansion when linked and suitable for chains of events.  Currently, I am quite interested in AAVE, BNB, Uni, Cake, I have put them into long-term accumulation plan.  I know that Grayscale will extend a trust fund for defi, if that happens, Uni, Cake might also make x10.  haha

Well, first impression don't lasts. Even myself, i almost believed that bitcoin is just a scheme because its what most others also believed in. But i was wrong. DYOR. It will answer all our doubts.
 
Bitcoin might be the most potential and the most expensive coin for now but i'm also open if new coins will come in the market and have the potentials to replace bitcoin's position. Crypto market creates new opportunities so we should learn how to grasp every opportunity that comes even if it means new bitcoin in the market.

DOT was an overrated coin. There will be no new bitcoin and we didn't even miss the time that bitcoin is worth only a few dollar. if bitcoin can go up from one time to the another time and then why not?

I agree, we won't get another bitcoin that will just make the old bitcoin obsolete. There are two many people invested in bitcoins to just let it disappear. Sure more alt coins will come and the market is going to grow but surpassing bitcoins seems unlikely at the moment. Personally I will keep holding bitcoins with my other alt coins.

You are strong in controlling your planning. because sometimes an investor (including me) is not strong enough to hold assets when they are in a big bull pump.
I am very simple in making investments. I will sell it for a profit that I have planned from the beginning when I made my investment plan. I prefer to take advantage of the volatility of the crypto market than to have to wait for the distant future.

The price from $30k already broken and it pumps up to $40k last day, imagine if you have bought at its dip then you already have x30 which is big and profitable that is why as an investor we should always grab the opportunity when bitcoin goes down as it can recover from its fall. You should also think about new coins that can be bitcoin in the future si find new coins that can give you x100.

dont ever regret with all thing that we never done before , we bought bitcoin in dip or not it is be our decision and let it go no matter how much bitcoin price at this moment. Myself too remember the days of bitcoin falling low to $3800. From that point it has grown $64k which isn't an simple thing. This ATH price means 17x growth from the low bottom of last year. More currencies used to grow in higher multiples, but very few gets popularity or gets into discussion.

We don't know on what basis this growth manifold takes place. It is good to stand a chance and enjoy, because however hard you analyse you'll end with a learning, but the same won't let you predict precisely.

I familar with bitcoin when it was only 250$ and i miss that chance. Bitcoin price to 60k is absolutely magic. Holding is not easy thing. I missed also great opportunity of Defi token whic goes 100x . now i am looking for good project specially NFt which have power to grow 50x at least in future.
