We have been looking for this since years ago and Paypal does it first before Amazon but this will Bring best result for the market once happen because for sure the use of bitcoin will circulate more as Amazon is one of the largest company that may accept online payments and best use of crypto of course. so basically this will made crypto market on the top again.

if true amazon wants to accept bitcoin payments by the end of the year, this can be said to be very interesting news, just like tesla last year accepted bitcoin in payments, maybe next year more big companies will accept bitcoin in their payments. will happen next year..
Again,,, this kind of news is meaningless. Having more places to spend Bitcoin does not mean more people will spend it. Having Bitcoin as an option does not encourage people to buy Bitcoin to pay with it. But if Amazon does allow people previously restricted to now also use Amazon and pay instead with Bitcoin? This will bring more people to Amazon, and more people to buy BTC.

Until the official announcement, I advise caution, the market has obviously reacted strongly - but the trend can be reversed very quickly if the news is officially denied by Amazon.
I have to quote myself and say I was right when I advised caution - and I would add that I don't think everyone has yet realized that the information was false - which means the price could go down even more in the next 24-48 hours.
But!!!! We had tons of goods news, checked news, confirmed news, from Microstrategy buying, from Salvador legal tender to German banks allowed to service crypto, confirmed positive news, yet the market was going down. And now we have a rumor from a "sauce and suddenly we're 16% up, seriously, what the hell? I know it's going to sound bad but now I do understand the people saying that this is a damn manipulated market case what happened in the last month makes really no sense compared to the way the price has moved.
The good news is not always good in the sense that people perceive it that way - because if MicroStrategy invests $100 million in BTC tomorrow, it probably won't affect the market because the average user has never heard of the company, it means nothing to them. But if you serve them a story about Amazon, Tesla or Apple, it's something else because everyone knows about them and the effect, as we've seen, is always explosive. And as for manipulation, it would be crazy to believe that it does not exist in the crypto market which is ideal for pump&dump, because where else can you earn 16% in less than 24 hours if you made the right move?

Apparently, the news that Amazon will accept Bitcoin payments "by the end of the year" turned out to be fake. I just looked at the Cityam where this rumor was posted. The website does not look trustworthy. It even uses a free SSL certificate that will expire in two weeks. In any case, as they say, there is no smoke without a fire. Perhaps Amazon is preparing to enter the cryptocurrency market in 2022, but representatives do not want to publish reports of their intentions too early. There's been too much fuss about the news (rumor). Today the market already reacted to that being either fake or not confirmed. I mean we didn't slide to the previous lows but that's not a great sign. I don't like when the market is so focused on these crappy rumors rather on real developments.

Ok, but if it was really fake, how the heck did those fake news move the market so massively? Or do you think that it was not because of those news that Bitcoin jumped 20%? The way these news spread out all over the place probably had an impact on the price or someone used the momentum to pump the market?

Even though this Amazon rumour turned to be fake (no wonder lol), there is a good thing about it - it has acted as a trampoline and bitcoin jumper over 33-35k levels, as well as pulled all other crypto. Strange to admit, that people believe, that such giant as Amazon would integrate a new payment option in just 4 months till the end of the year. For me, that looks impossible.

I think that accepting bitcoin as a payment method could have a huge benefit for a big company. No big company really does it besides PayPal, and it may even increase their client base to do so.
Because PayPal let you sell PayPal bitcoins for PayPal dollars. That's the only reason it was able to introduce bitcoin in its service without criticism from pundits. Amazon, Google, Apple and co can't do this without controversy about liquidation because these are not financial services, they sell products instead which severely get affected by price flux.

They might as well introduce their own token. I am not so sure whether this article right. This is not the first time I am seeing a news like this, but it has never happened. But it wouldn’t be bad to believe that they are working on something like that, that’s if they really hired Blockchain experts as some has said. When the time is right we are going to know what they are really working on, whether they are trying to implement Bitcoin as a method of payment on their platform or they are just trying to create their own token and use it instead of Bitcoin? - The Amazon group seems to have released an article about this information and immediately confirmed this ridiculous rumor, they also don't add projects that collaborate with blockchain experts or announce a token of their own, it's all a zero and I also don't expect people to continue to weave this story and about the future of Amazon or any corporation. It only takes a few days to listen to rumors and a few more days to get official confirmation, suspicion and reversal, the combination is enough to cause dumping and burning of investors' houses.

According to the insider, Amazon hopes to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of the year.Accepting Bitcoin payments on Amazon is a big deal in itself. Moreover, it may push other big retailers to embrace cryptocurrency. But there are also a lot of other factors at play. As such, right now, it's too early to tell how this will all play out.

I don't know from where CityAM got the news. This is the issue when you solely rely on "anonymous" sources. Obviously Amazon has "some" interest in cryptocurrency (similar to the case with Facebook and Tesla), but it is too early to say whether they want to stick with Bitcoin, or come up with their own coin/token. Institutions and corporations know that cryptocurrency is the next big thing in technology and they don't want to lose out. But the big question is which approach they would like to take while dealing with cryptocurrency.

I don't trust anything that big tech, Bezos or Amazon are saying, and they always have some hidden motives behind everything they do. They hired some blockchain people few months ago, and there are some rumors they are working on creating their own token to be used instead of Bitcoin. You can imagine that they will control supply and everything else related with potential amazon token including some kyc verification, and for Bitcoin they can always have some stupid excuse like high fees, etc.
Possibly could be their strategy on why they're adapting cryptocurrency as transactions and for payments, and this statement clearly tells why it could be sus, they can make excuses and use Bitcoin's volatility, but then again, this is another step forward towards the future, let's just hope it doesn't suck.

Lots of people have been waiting for this event to happen because it will surely have a positive impact on Bitcoin. Events and adoptions like this are important in the growth and development of Bitcoin as a currency. I just hope that the Amazon would really make it possible by the end of the year because it has been announced months ago.

I don't think that we have to trust this insider, you know that pump and dump schemes can happen because of this rumors plus we don't know if that insider is just riling up the market because he/she has a portfolio that he/she wants to grow by an exponential amount in a matter of months. Be careful with rumors because they will be a cause for your losses.

Check the previous posts. Amazon has issued clarification, saying that the news is fake. They stated that they have an interest in cryptocurrency, but most of the article is far from the truth. And that is the reason why the exchange rates fell by more than 10% in the last 24 hours. But personally, I am not that disappointed. The cryptocurrency journey is full of ups and downs and we don't need to bother about temporary setbacks. If PayPal has accepted Bitcoin, then it is just a matter of time before others such as Amazon and Microsoft does the same.

Let's just lean on that possibility despite the denial that they've made about cityam's article. The article have overwhelmed the market but we're having the same feeling that Amazon is going to be here soon. It's only a matter of time until they're the ones that will announce it publicly that they're already accepting bitcoin payments. But for now, there's not that much expectation anymore about this clarification.

Bitcoin has more than enough volume in any big exchange to do so. A partnership with a big exchange would solve that "problem"
