I grew up in a region where parents were brained washed to think that the polio vaccines were meant to decimate the number of people living in that region. And so they refused health care workers from administering the vaccines to their kids.  Guess what, over 20% of their kids are paralyzed. I understand people's qualms with government and the vaccine.
