Ethereum adoption rate is rising because it is still continuing to be developed regularly. After the last updates and the release of Ethereum 2.0, Ethereum has started being preferred more than before. But the high-fee problem is still continuing. And this is really frustrating for the investors. The most important things to do are cutting down the fees at a high rate and speeding up the network.

Ethereum is one of best platform in cryptocurrency and give good opportunity to many developers for doing very cheap and up-to-date job for their own projects demand was very good, but recently we have few good competitors as well in market they are also doing very good Ethereum gas fees is hurting him very badly just because of this we have update about this which was Ethe2.0 and then London fork but these both have no better impact on this.

 Recently we have good features from BSC and Solana which are going to work with more features and latest technology now if Ethereum team want to stay in competition they have to do some very good and quick for otherwise they can lose their spot from second in crypto world.

The adoption rate of ethereum can't look way higher than Bitcoin. What always comes to people minds when talking about crypto is Bitcoin and every altcoin is following the lead of Bitcoin in price. The present price of ethereum now is $2983 while Bitcoin is $43000. Both (ethereum and Bitcoin) has been flaunting below that amount for days now.
There's has speculation that there will be another ATH of altcoin around October and November. Expecting to see Eth above $4k-$5k

it looks like but it does not reached another ATH , not like Bitcoin that made multiple ATH just this year alone while ETH only has 1 ATH .

I don't even know why people still use the ERC-20 chain. There are much better alternatives available and the ETH developers have ignored the requests from users on a consistent basis for the last two years or so.

I stopped using ERC20 chain couple years ago.

On top of that, the transaction fee hasn't dipped below $5 in recent times. A lot of hype has been generated regarding ETH 2.0. But they started the implementation almost one year ago, and I can't find any significant change which resulted from this. For me, it looks more like a delaying tactic.

In deed, Ethereum is 2nd best coin on coinmarketcap and has potential to break its ATH and even can go much beyond because its use case which no other coin break easily, so many project launched on crypto space with the aim to kill Ethereum but non of them succeeded. The only and long standing issue with Ethereum network is its high transaction fee due to scalability problem which is believed to be resolved once ETH 2.0 is launched and implemented successfully.

This is such a relaxing process as updates are ongoing. Trading fees are based on trading volume, and burning Eth will lower fees in the long run. But, the ETH share is being consumed by Solana and others every day as fees increase. This is a serious issue. Hopefully they will be able to address this issue soon, otherwise one of their many competitors will start closing the gap.

Ethereum is a developing blockchain and I think that it attracts new investors. There are new projects on it and new updates all the time. When Ethereum switches to proof-of-stake, miners will be replaced by validators and validators with the biggest amount of Ethereum will confirm transactions and get reward for it, so maybe whales are really prepaying for it.

However, I have some concerns. As there are already a large number of Ethereum staked in version 2.0, I do think there will have to be a dip, as this will effectively bring all the staked Ethereum back onto the open market, and investors will want to withdraw their investment. The upgrades may work in either direction if they live up to their promises. The system should limit transaction fees, increase scalability, and be more user-friendly.

Then that's good if there's no dip that might come because many have staked already. It will make the price of Ethereum stable as it's very common to stake these days even if the APY isn't that much. People only want to get some extra profits and everyone who owns it and can do that will just have to stake.

I think the price of Ethereum went up because of the hard fork that was already taking place in London, which happened on August 4 yesterday. It's important to note that after the implementation of the London Hard fork price we see the price of ethereum moving faster but we don't know how long ethereum will maintain its existence. hopefully we can see again the new ATH happening with ethereum and we can see its adoption increase too.

Ethereum will be still exist and keep growing in crypto industry since it has a lot of marketcap and the holders are huge. So i think it's promising for investors to invest on ethereum and the current price also still cheap if we know what ethereum will do in the future, ETH 2.0 is just the beginning of their great products and i'm sure this coin will still exist and worth investing for further years

I think what you say is certainly very true, with the existence of ethereum and its holders being so large that the growth of ethereum is unquestionable among cryptocurrencies. Talking about investments, Ethereum is the main choice for many investors to maintain the value of the assets they have or what is called the store of value. Therefore, I think it is natural that ethereum is an Altcoin that has a higher popularity than other Altcoins.

I think, entering the big whales who invest their money in ETH is a good plan for ETH
and it is possible that ETH will reach new ATH for the second time this year. this will further strengthen their position as a competitor to btc.
however to surpass btc adoption rate i think it is not yet, btc is very solid as a crypto ruler. Until now, BTC is still the benchmark price for altcoins.
For example: if the price of btc goes up, the altcoins will also go up, and vice versa.
the price of btc can still greatly affect the price of altcoins in crypto. BTC operates on a network of thousands of computers on a blockchain or transaction log ledger like some cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is trading around $33,000 with a current market cap of 596.82 billion.
