I guess that China is one of the "crazy countries"! It's a big country, and like with all big countries there are many pros and cons! I definitely don't agree with a headline, in big countries everything cannot be fine, and for sure everything is not bad... it's just a matter of perspective, and perspective depends on your position!

Wow it seems like a lot of hate. Not trying to defend China, but i don't think any country is always that bad. Of course countries have their own bad sides, the same with China. I don't know if what you said is true or not, but for some people China is great, and for some people, like you China is bad. I guess you shouldn't judge too much without knowing everything, or involving directly there. China has some great aspects too, and we can't deny that it has the power to influence the world, especially economically. Regrets is something that i do believe for the government of China would able to felt and if we do consider on how rich they are on rankings compared to other countries then i dont really see that they would really be minding about revenue or profits out of those miner but i do agree that they do really lost up  that opportunity. Honestly, crypto community does really have  that kind of  bad impression due to their banning decisions

You can't say that there was no impact from the ban on mining in China. Because the hashrate went down by more than half, after the ban was announced. Prices went down by quite a lot, and for a brief period the Bitcoin prices hovered below $30K level. However, it is another fact that the exchange rates recovered very quickly. The miners were able to resume their operations with relative ease after they transported the equipment to Kazakhstan and other neighboring nations. Doesn't matter for the Chinese regime. They are still having wet dreams about e-CNY replacing BTC in the market.

During the 90s, China was so desperate to attract foreign investment that they allowed a number of polluting industries in their territory. These industries brought new jobs and wealth, but also resulted in large numbers suffering from cancer and other pollution-related diseases. Fortunately, the CCP seems to have changed their priority now. Recently, many of such industries were forced to shut down, or shift their operations to other countries. China can afford to kick out these industries now.

I would say that India wouldn't have been the perfect place for manufacturing unless they would start doing inhumane conditions and basically work people to death.

China became like this because in the 90's the biggest hype was the fact that China made things for cents, when a thing was made for a dollar in USA, and yes India is not a rich nation neither I will accept that but you couldn't put people in factories and tell them to work for one food, yes that is what China did, many people worked all day for just ONE meal, because the nation was in so much horrible condition that even one meal was better than none and that is how this all started.

Of course, companies started to make a bit more money and eventually hired the better and more experienced workers for a bit more money, and then basically it became not so bad in china these days, still worse than west nations but not as bad as 90's. If India did that, then they would have been rich today as well, but they would be hated by everyone around the world too, now they are loved around the world.
