What hatred do people have for Bitcoin?

1. My own trading skills are not good enough and I lost my chips.
2. Now I still feel that Bitcoin is too expensive, and I am afraid of buying it at a loss. After waiting year after year, it is getting more expensive year by year. Until now, there is still no bottom position.

People who have issues with Bitcoin fail to understand what really it is all about. Bitcoin is not for the hasty and naive. If you know nothing about patience bitcoin would teach you. Because often times people rush into investment not understanding what Bitcoin is really.

Those with no experience at all (good or bad) and are haters of Bitcoin are just victims of ignorance. And I'm sure there so many other life opportunities that they have intentionally failed to recognize.

maybe they don't have a bitcoin and are envious of others that have. However, I believe that this is a group of people who have been defrauded in the past and believe that bitcoin is a fraud. Most of the people I know were investing in high-yielding investments such as ponzi schemes, and after being scammed, they were telling others that bitcoin was a scam, not realizing that the person who scammed them was simply utilizing bitcoin as a payment method.

Most of them are beginners who got into Bitcoin without enough information about how Cryptocurrency works, and it probably led to them losing their money. For example, they buy when the price is high, and their expectation was that the price will rise higher, for them to make profit. But when the market crashes, they panic and sell their coins. They just conclude that bitcoin is scam, without realising their mistakes.

For me, I think they’re either:

1. Jealous of other’s fortunes in Bitcoin (especially people that they refer who bought cheap and sold it high around $60k)
2. Lost big money on Bitcoin and start doing anti-Bitcoin campaigns
3. People put their money on Bitcoin more than their bank savings account
4. Lack of knowledge or lazy in doing their own research
5. More opportunities than the traditional industries worldwide

This is just my own opinion on why they hate Bitcoin so much.

Most of them are beginners who got into Bitcoin without enough information about how Cryptocurrency works, and it probably led to them losing their money. This is on point! Complaints do mostly come into those noobs who don't make out some proper research before they do dive into this market and they had been just expecting about making fast profits

without minding about the potential risk and once the reality slapped into their faces then that's the time they would really be having bad impressions towards market where they do end up on saying that it is a scam or fraud without even realizing on what are those words that do  come out into their mouth.

They would really be always finding a thing for them to blame on when things doesn't happen on what they had anticipated.

In that forum, Bitcoin has been called "a scam", "a negative sum game". Also, David Gerald who is an anti-crypto activist has publicly cleared his hatred for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. According to him, “I think the future of cryptocurrencies is that it will become increasingly regulated and normalised. People want regulation of this because they want to know where they stand and what they can do with this sort of thing. I think that speaking technically they are junk-quality assets. They are not backed by anything they are volatile as hell. They have a price because people will pay for them and that’s all.”

My Questions now are, Why do some people hate cryptocurrency so much? What's their back story? Did they ever lose a huge amount of money in cryptocurrency?

Bitcoin is often associated with schemes and scams and most people who aren't knowledgeable enough easily believe the rumors and fake news without fact checking it. That is why the reputation of bitcoin is tainted in the mainstream media. When people read articles about it connected to a scam, they always assume it's true.

In addition, it may also possibly because they have lost a huge amount of money in risking to cryptocurrency. Maybe they can't get over their losses due to hype or FOMO and they just divert their anger toward bitcoin itself instead of blaming themselves for being so careless. Maybe some really got scammed by a scammer claiming to be involved in crypto but the truth is it's just a bait to get trust and money from their victims. Maybe some people got invested in it but got hacked because of phishing or because of fake application and they can't help but to curse they have known bitcoin when in fact it's their fault that it happened. You see, there are endless possibilities why people have so much hate towards bitcoin. We just need to look at their perspective to know.

A lot of people from my job hates crypto and just thinks it's a scam. But they never bought it and used it. They can't understand how "internet thing" can cost so much and most likely it's just the bubble or scam as they say. They just don't want to learn and ignoring it.

My Questions now are, Why do some people hate cryptocurrency so much? What's their back story? Did they ever lose a huge amount of money in cryptocurrency?

The main reasons for such hate according to me is due to this reasons:

1) Suffered loss due to panic selling in the market dumps which makes them beleive this is bad choice of investment for them.
2) Investment in some shitcoins which doesn't give them any returns at all
3) All those government fake news of btc being used in illicit activities and it is bubble and still people don't explore themselves and beleive what they hear.
4) The government banning Bitcoins put them at fear that they can lose money if they invested in them

There are many more but we call them some lame excuses which people make to defend themselves but we know the reality which is more important.

many reasons we can assume why they hate bitcoin, such as
business failure caused by losing competition with bitcoin
- exposed to a scam on a site or investment place in the name of bitcoin
- stolen bitcoin
- or most often there are losses from trying to invest in bitcoin
- etc
however, there is a reason why they hate bitcoin. maybe it was the reason that changed their life. however, it's best to ignore them, and try to focus and make use of bitcoin, or altcoins. when you make a profit with it, when you have bought real estate, or when you are successful in this path, they can only denounce it.
In addition, remember one thing, that no matter how good the technology is, there will definitely be people who hate it.

People who didn't believe in bitcoin before always think bitcoin is a scam, the bubble will burst and they lose the chance to own bitcoin when the price is low. And now they regret seeing the price of bitcoin skyrocket around me there are still some people who want bitcoin dead. That's selfish.

Only representative of stock markets are not seriously happy with bitcoin's growth affecting stock market. Bitcoin's growth has drawn stock market investors into crypto currency. Recent crypto trend vastly spread crypto market. Obviously business is affected.

Other then this, I have not seen directly speaking against bitcoin in my surroundings.

It depends what the "agenda" is....

A financial consultant or Broker with old school Fiat education will most probably "hate" Bitcoin, because he or she make their money from a system that put barrier to entry for the average Joe on the street. (They charge "fees" for handling other people's money and you have to produce certain documents to operate in this field)

Now, what happened now.... a new technology (currency/commodity) are introduced that are not regulated and people are given the "power" to handle their own trading..without a barrier to entry and without the requirement to have "superior" knowledge on the subject. (You simply register on an exchange and you start trading Crypto currencies)

These butt hurt sub-redits are full of Fiat financial advisors and brokers and people who missed the "early" days when Bitcoin was cheap or people who invested in scams (where Crypto currencies was used as a payment) and these people got burnt! (Now suddenly... Crypto currencies are evil or Ponzi schemes)

Some aging financial executive that's upset they can't exert fiscal control on something like Bitcoin makes them afraid. I remember the misinformation spread about Bitcoin when it hovered around 1k and crashed a few years ago - the wall st. execs seemed to have an arrogant "I told you so" mentality.

Of course, with inflation spiraling out of control for many currencies, those same folks seem awfully quiet as BTC is climbing.

I think its most likely that they once invested, trade or even gambling with bitcoin but unfortunately, they end up losing the game with a huge amount. They won't come up hating bitcoin if there's nothing had happened. Just like some other ordinary people who come to bitcoin thinking that it's a rich quick scheme and so even without proper research, they put their capital and eventually lose them.

I cannot blame those people who have to hate bitcoin because maybe that's what had bitcoin had caused him. We all have different experience anyways. But as for me, bitcoin has helped me in so many ways and so i had a positive experience on it. I have no reason to hate it but rather love it for what it is.

There are several reasons they hate bitcoin maybe because of huge losses, regrets and also knowledge and but that doesn't reduce bitcoin's ever-increasing growth and ever-increasing popularity.
they hate it because of their own deeds and most importantly knowledge everything happens because they don't have enough knowledge about bitcoin which makes them lose big, just ignore it because it's not important and those who hate bitcoin don't reduce bitcoin users at all because bitcoin always proves to those who believe and reciprocity in their favor.

even if someone is influenced and hates bitcoin, the odds are 1 in 10, 1 hate it and 9 believe in bitcoin and enter.

In general, there are definitely people out there who hate Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies for certain reasons. I think the point is because of the characteristics of Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies that are always seen from the negative side so that they continue to provide negative feedback, well that could be from their experience or they don't know at all and don't want to know at all, due this is not real and only in the virtual world.
