I believe that a lot of organizations are prioritizing the technology that can be of benefit to the blind people, voice-recognition technology and AI could play a big role in this development, so I do believe that with enough budget and development research, even the blind people can have a much more convenient way in making or taking payment in the future.

Teaching about cryptocurrencies and bitcoin to children is a real great idea special if they understand about the economics and the money management too. Unfortunately, the newbies and the kids who enter this market are really emotional and they act make making emotional decisions. In my own idea first before learning about crypto and bitcoin, they will need to learn about the money management and risk management stuff. However, since bitcoin is getting more viral every day, people need some educations regarding this new technology.

These differently abled people are not taken much into consideration most of the time. We can see differently abled people do all the activities same as common people. At some occasions it is truly hard for them to cope up with the technology, even though the advancement have gone high in terms of development. In regards to the issue surrounding blind people, Adam Newbold ^[source] came up with a hardware wallet ^{[IcyWallet - back in 2017]} that was meant to tackle that issue.

Paper money would never be gone as long government do exist then its an absolute thing for it not to happen thats why this kind of what if situation is on impossible to impossible which it cant happen no matter what.

I don't think government controlled digital currency will completely eradicate fiat money. At least not now! Also for the usability of blind people, features like Siri or Alexa will come handy where people can use payment system using their voice.

There are also some elderly and children who do not have mobile phones. Children can take care of them and learn cryptocurrency with their families. However, many elderly people have no children and lack the ability to accept new things. With the popularity of Bitcoin, will they continue to use paper money in the future?

As I have said earlier, I don't see fiat money disappearing anytime soon. Digital currencies will be rolled out to people who are interested in using it. So digital currency can coexist with fiat..

Blind and elderly people have difficulties in doing many things, dealing with bitcoin is the smallest of the problems they face in their daily life. These people have the support of caregivers for all their needs, what I believe may include dealing with bitcoin if someday it becomes a necessity.

Caregivers can be family members, relatives or hired people to execute the job. In case of elderlies without family it's common the nursing home where they live take care of all their finances, so they don't need to worry about it.

However, at some point a bitcoin platform operated by voice command may be developed meant to give these people a new positive experience in crypto universe.

I am pretty sure that handicapped people are not gonna force themselves to use Bitcoin if they are experiencing difficulties using the modern devices we got these days. It's not like bitcoin would replace the papers right now actually, OP.

Though if they would really like to be involved in crypto, I believe that there is such "Accessibility" feature in every phones these days that allows them to use the phone without having problems.

But for those who can freely access and know how to properly use their Bitcoins, that won't be a problem anymore I guess. let alone people with special needs and the elderly, even ordinary people definitely need time to use crypto. for most people, using crypto is quite difficult because there are many things to learn, from basic knowledge of crypto, how to exchange money from fiat to crypto, withdrawals to making fiat again, this is quite complicated and takes time to learn.

What about systems like Siri where you can give commands via speech? Wouldn't that be the simplest way to interact with your device in order to get transactions initiated and processed? For verification you could use fingerprint in addition to a spoken password, just in case someone listens to you. The password could be a certain sentence as well so it is not that obvious. I think there are ways for sure to solve such problems.

I agree that these categories of people are often neglected when it comes to new regulations. However, I think there’s always a way out. Even without currency being fully digitalized, living without a smartphone is tough in today’s world, because so many things are much easier and more available with functions and apps that are only present on smartphones.

I personally don’t know a single person that doesn’t use one, even the elderly are learning these technologies now. I think if it comes to this, and normal life literally won’t be possible without using smart technologies, there will be solutions. For instance, for blind people many functions can be switched to voice control: identification, navigation, and, maybe, someday even payment.

Also, I know that some people (rare cases now, may be popular in the future?) insert special microchip implants in their fingers, which allow them to unblock different things and make payments. I know that it is not perfect, but it solves the problem to some extent.

In fact, for blind people, no one pays too much attention to their lives. Because there are no blind friends around, they don't think so much. If some technology is developed, it is very expensive consumption.

This is actually a pretty interesting topic to bring up, for blind people using cash can be quite difficult since there is no for them to identify it with their touch especially in a country where the bills are all the same, and to my understanding most of them don't use it and they just use credit cards to pay for goods and services most of the time, and for people in the us there is a device called iBill which can read and identify the number on the paper money and gives you a audio effect telling that its a a 1 dollar or 5 dollar bill, but still they would have to go through the hustle of identifying each bill which takes a long time, and this is where crypto could solve the problem since it is getting popular maybe a way could be developed for blind people to easily use it to pay for things.

Whenever something is innovated, these people know about it at last. Because, to make things workout it takes time and very few concern about these people whereas majority move on. I appreciate OP for bringing this into discussion. Recently in a news saw about a cooking guide (book) developed for the blind people. They can just understand and do cooking, maybe some application can be incorporated with these wallets to support usage of cryptocurrency.

If we've got paper currency, these people will easily get used to it within few days of usage, because they're very clear in identifying currencies with specific things.

Nothing will happen to them, let's say many people start using cryptocurrency and country start accepting it too. It doesn't mean that all of the people will now use cryptocurrency, they will still use fiat of course this is one of the disadvantages I see in cryptocurrency, it can't be use by people with disability but in real life blind people also struggling with fiat money.

This is very sensetive topic and I must appreciate concern of author for Blind people. I think crypto currencies are developing very fast and coming with innovative solutions for mass adoption so I am optimistic the technology will certainly come up with solution that will make disable to use it.Currently, there is an initiative in the works to transcribe Satoshi’s white paper in Braille, a tactile writing system used by individuals who are visually impaired people. This reflects how people are making efforts to make Bitcoin useable for everybody.
