Ethereum will never be ranked 1 on coinmarketcap and replace Bitcoin, because Bitcoin will remain in its position (rank 1 on coinmarketcap) and of course Bitcoin is not a rival to Ethereum, because Ethereum is a companion to Bitcoin (Bitcoin is king and Ethereum is queen), so of course Bitcoin will always be on top of Ethereum and stay at position 1 on coinmarketcap, while Ethereum will remain at position 2 on coinmarketcap.

We don't know this, bro. Who can guarantee it? No one knows the future. I think it is possible although the opportunity will be very small. I don't think there's a competition between Bitcoin and Ethereum since Bitcoin has a huge advantage over it. Ethereum can never be the first in the market because of its unlimited inflation compare to the bitcoin that has limited market cap of 21million supply but the best thing that ethereum can do is ETH has a good chance of surpassing the $660 billion market capitalization of bitcoin. For now ethereum can never be on top when it comes to value in the market but it has a potential to be most usable crypto currency in the world.

Both are good digital currencies and have potential for storing value. But the two have vast differences, both in terms of usability, value and purpose. in terms of market demand bitcoin is far superior to ethereum, not to mention the price that no altcoin can compete with btc. that's why I don't think bitcoin is a competitor to ethereum.

Price is not the main thing to make comparisons. There are still many advantages and disadvantages that Ethereum has that need to be seen and studied, so the issue of price is one of the considerations.

it is impossible for ethereum to be the first digital currency and can compete with bitcoin in the market even though etherum's popularity exceeds bitcoin!

It will continue like that forever, Ethereum and Bitcoin are the best options at the moment, both have their respective roles in running the system, but there is no possibility for ethereum to overtake bitcoin in the next 3 years.

Because it is not a coin that is competitive with each other. instead are ETH dependent on BTC. and all altcoins basically depend on the price of BTC. altcoin prices will always depend on BTC and that's for sure. the high price of a coin is not a benchmark that the coin is better than others. if you look at the market there are also coins that are higher than BTC but it doesn't mean they are greater.

Well, if you are going to check the stats between both coins, you would see there is a big difference between the two, and that Bitcoin is still dominating in all aspects. No it's not and it will never be, why because  bitcoin isn't an altcoin nor is this a competition.

For arguments sake if we compared the two,these are in different worlds...it's like comparing apples to oranges, ethereum is a coin with smart contract compatibility which is something coins like bsc and trx have and best fit as rivals and not bitcoin.

Btw why do we want to treat these coins as rivals, for the crypto ecosystem to thrive it they need each other don't separate them.
