when i see topics like this i start to think that bear season is very close. Because people stop realizing profit and start holding it.

everyone has different views and this is freedom here, I don't really care whether the bearish will come or end soon because for sure the current trend is good enough at least to secure a little profit from the previous month's decline.

I believe that we haven't even seen the peaks of most altcoins, sure some stuff like Avax made a lot of profit but that is very little amount of coins, not all of them. When you look ETH, it increases way less than what bitcoin did, same for dot, doge, uni and link. I could name a few others but you got what I am saying, sure some stuff like bnb and ADA went up a lot and I am very glad for them but those will probably not continue to go up, I mean the ones that went up less than what bitcoin did, anything that didn't go up 10% or more this week still has a chance to go up in the next week.

Just the way crypto market works, if bitcoin goes up a bit, then altcoins should go up at least that much as well, if it is not doing that then it means there is either a problem with that coin/token or they will do it later than when the other ones went up.

BTC crossed $50K 2 days back but still, we can not say whether it will touch 100000USD or not before the year ends. If one has good potential altcoins must hold tight because soon we will see altcoins will also boom so there is no point in selling if there is no emergency of funds. Solana is a hot choice among altcoin buyers in recent times because Solana is performing phenomenal but we can not expect much from the shit coins. If BTC moves we can hope for good movement in altcoins also in the coming days.

I'm still holding my alts and some of my alts like AlchemyPay, Tranchess, Wild, PYR and many more have been giving me decent amount of money but I were expecting the bullish season for the altcoin will be going on at least until the next year.
So many people are still accumulating more and more assets. It seems like bitcoin can hodl the 48k - 49k level. that gives confidence to the bitcoin investors to diversify their portfolios into the altcoin.

I will try to wait another good news for bitcoin that will come soon. it may be a game change for the altcoin hodlers as well.

Solana is different from most alts that have already made their ATH before. But it can happen that the other altcoins can also be back at their ATHs because of bitcoin making a recovery from its ATH.

That's a quick gain and recovery that we're seeing and I think it's the first time to see that bitcoin has been this great in recovery after plummeting after reaching the top.

The market is unpredictable because many people will associate opinions with market movements, if now the market has increased then many are speculating that it is time to reach a new ATH even though the market is signaling it will drop drastically. BTC will indeed hit a new ATH but maybe not within the next month but towards the end of the year.

Really? I can tell you that almost all of the altcoins I held in 2017 are either dead, or >90% away from their OLD ATHs. And even the older coins like LTC and XMR, to name some solid ones, are still off their 2017 peaks. It's really just a handful of altcoins like ETH that are above their old peaks and not long off from their new ones. The ones you name are new alts, and new alts have a habit of tricking us as they did in 2017.

I would say that 2018 peak had BNB as well, and doge too, and in fact ADA as well, and sure XRP and LTC type of coins are far away from their ATH as well but that means we have some that went down and some went up, we can't say that most went down and only few went up. On contrary if you make good decisions on your purchases right now, 3 years later they will be in profit as well.

Things like poly and dot may not be super high in few years, why? Because, they have a thing that people end up using them for and if that thing gets more and more common than we are not going to end up seeing these two stay up since there is way too much competition. This is why I believe that we should not be focusing on crypto that has potential now, we should look into things that are already good, not just a potential but a good thing as it is currently so that we can profit.

Alts already have a market cap of well over $1 trillion, and their adoption and acceptability is not high enough to justify such a huge valuation. For BTC, I am OK with the current market cap of $900 billion, but $1150 billion for the alts is too much IMO. Especially for coins like Doge, there is hardly any correlation between the market cap and usage stats. The user base and real volumes doesn't justify this figure. As long as BTC goes up, the alts will follow. But once a correction occurs, they will get destroyed.
