To be honest, we should never underestimate Bitcoin now. Bitcoin could rekt altcoins, Bitcoin dominance is still on sideways now. I am afraid if Bitcoin dominance will break 50% and most altcoins maybe will get sideways and not able to continue creating new highs.

There are lot of good altcoins these days, but I am looking forward on high - mid-market caps, even low percentage of pump, as long as it is more safer, it's good.

Yes it's a good choice of passing all alts when bitcoin price is up and down.
It's a common in crypto market when bitcoin price is not in sideway position, altcoin's price will crash because people their trades and focusing on bitcoin.
I think not all alcoins will recover when bitcoin touch new ATH, some will stays at their true value but some will rise and make huge profits because i saw on ANN thread there are many huge and great projects incoming

I have also some alts that I need to harvest its fruits. Thankfully, they didn't rot in my wallet and they are still moving despite the long wait.

Good thinking. The altcoins follow the bitcoin bull/bear trend and they dont last high for long enough when bitcoin becomes a bit stagnant or sideways. So that would be the time to sell altcoins and cash it out for the time being.

Stubbornly holding altcoins is a wrong step, but as we know many newbies tend to do this and then get frustrated over their wrong decision in the bear market. Your argument is very weak. Essentially you are saying that Bitcoin is going up, and therefore the alts also "need to" go up. In real life, things are not that simple. Have you ever compared the userbase and acceptability of altcoins to that of Bitcoin? Bitcoin is miles ahead of all of them. Take the case of XRP or Polkadot as example. The overall trade volume may be high, because day traders love these coins. But what about the actual usage? Very few people use them for any purpose other than trading. And that makes me believe that these coins are overpriced.

We have more serious projects with investment from many big institutions like Coinbase, Binance Labs, Samsung... They are big corporations. They are strongly promoting the development of the cryptocurrency market.
